I just bought a 25 Silverado 3500 Trailboss LTZ with the Duramax. I absolutely love it! The Trail boss package is basically an appearance package. For those of us who don't like chrome, this truck is perfect!

I don't like chrome either but I don't hate chrome enough to pay the money for the black badging. I'm going to drive the thing, not make sweet love to it.

Chevy trucks are awesome. The trail boss in particular is everything you could ever want. The only way I would go back to a 1500 is if it was for a trail boss LT, or a Silverado ZR2.

I have a 2024 2500 z71 midnight edition. All I have to do is get them trail boss sticker slap them on and it basically the same truck!

4 years ago, my last daily driver was all blacked out like that with big tires, everybody looked at me wherever I went. Fast forward 4 years and now everybody's got a blacked out truck with the big AT or MT tires. and I went back to chrome badging and brushed wheels without the offroad package. And you know what? I don't like it any less. I got the whole big blacked out truck thing out of my system and saved thousands of dollars in the process. Found one that nobody wanted because it wasn't all blacked out with monster jam tires on it. If you take a $65k+ truck offroading, you really need to have your head examined anyway.

@ I think it looks good, don't get me wrong, the auto cartels know this, thats why they charge a premium for black plastic instead of chrome plastic. But its just not unique enough anymore.
