Bighorn Ram RDR2 Locations Red Dead Online

There are two types of Bighorn Ram In RDR2. There are the The Sierra Nevada Bighorn Ram and the Rocky Mountain Bighorn Ram.
Sierra Nevada Bighorn Ram
The Sierra Nevada Bighorn Ram can be found in New Austin and West Elizabeth. As herbivores, they graze on forbs, woody vegetation, and grasses. The easiest way to take down a ram of this size is by either using a Bow with Poison Arrows or a rifle. Their meat is edible but gristly, and their horns and hides can be used for crafting.
Yields a pelt, horns and gristly mutton. Used in crafting and cooking or can be sold. Use a rifle for a clean kill.
Rocky Mountain Bighorn Ram
The Rocky Mountain Bighorn Ram's main habitat is the Grizzlies region. They are herbivores, mainly consuming grasses and sedges, but they will also eat woody plants in the winter. The easiest way to take down a ram of this size is by either using a Bow with Poison Arrows or a rifle. Ram mutton is gristly, and their horns and hides can be used to craft with.

That spot on the high ridge right up by Aurora Basin for the bighorn is arguably the most reliable spawn of any animal I’ve seen so far. I always seem to see them whenever I’m in that area.

Noticed I never bought any trinkets so I went to Gus (New Austin location) and I had everything on me except the Bighorn horn. So I checked your locations and went to the spot under AU and above Fort Mercer and got one right away. Thanks.

They used to spawn all over gaptooth ridge.. when I DIDNT need to hunt them. Now I’m desperately trying to find rams and they don’t even spawn not even in the location shown in this vid
