Worked the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park as a utility worker back in the 80's and 90's. Seen many deer, foxes, coyotes, wild dogs, snakes, and mountain lions. Never once ever seen a Big horn sheep. Pulled into turnoffs and people would say " You just missed a view of a herd of Bighorn sheep". You would think I would have seen one...just one. Must have been my deoderant . LOL

I am dying to get some shots of them this winter! Any chance of some good places to start? Long distance shots are no problem for my camera! Thank you for posting this, it makes me want the pictures of them even more!

Good luck finding and taking pics of them. Sorry for the delayed response. Start with Borrego Palm Canyon. Also look for them when you drive down the Montezuma Grade.
