Man - with all these crowd work clips spammed throughout KZbin, it’s a shame Big Jay hasn’t completely blown up over others. See him live and he absolutely murders. Majority of the material springs from convos with the audience. Never seen somebody kill as hard as he does.

​@@mattmatt222333 that's the exact opposite of reality though. I've seen him live plenty of times and the stuff he comes up with off the top of his head is insane. None of his shows are ever the same. I love Mark Normand and Sam Morrill but their crowd work consists of asking for a topic and making a joke about it. Jay sounds like he's actually talking to the crowd and says some of the funniest shit I have ever heard.

I agree absolutely man. Gotta say tho. Bill Burr is second to none, Chapelle, Kyle Kinane, Josh Blue, and Anthony Jezelnick (I murdered Anthony’s name 😅) are definitely top tier in my opinion. 100% recommend them and many more. Also in my opinion, Big Jay is one of a kind. He’ll definitely go down as one of the greatest

Comments show how varied people's tastes are, and those who have no clue what real comedy is. "What? He just asks how they know each other? Where'd you meet? Does he write real jokes?" No clue how hard it is to come up with the perfect line in 2 seconds to get the whole room laughing (nothing rhymes with shut up), quick references (Misery line was hilarious), etc. I like all kinds of comedy. A well-written joke, a good story teller, etc but Big Jay is a great comic, and I'm happy to see him getting more long-overdue attention.
