I am almost sure tyler's soul briefly left when he fell and when he saw the kitchen damage, he is a good guy haha. slightly problematic that the floor was thin enough for him to fall, maybe a problem spot or not reinforced, but if the attic will be storage for a lot of stuff, I would recommend extra reinforcement so the floor/ceiling doesn't fall in again or droop.

Welcome to TN! God this brought back some rough memories from my childhood... My brother Kevin decided to go in the unfinished attic space above the garage and fell through just like Tyler did. But Tyler being an adult at least owned up to it and apologized. Kevin had insulation past his waist (he basically T-posed and caught himself under the armpits during the fall) but still claimed he had no idea how that giant hole got there. 😒
