It's super cool that you remember Humidity, and in such a positive light too! I spent a good 15-16 months working on Humidity over the course of 2016 and 2017, and I learned so much about hammer throughout my time working on it. It was my first major project, and it really shows. I'd honestly love to get around to remastering this map and fixing a lot of issues I see with it, but free time has been sparse for me. I'm honored that you'd include Humidity in this video, and here's to hoping that it gets added in a future update!

Sulfur feels like a mix between Attack/Defend and King Of The Hill, which is an interesting dynamic for the game, and now that it is in the game thanks to Summer 2023, I'm hoping it stays year-round, because I've been enjoying it the most. Humidity and Stallone definitely had a shot at being included in the Summer 2023 update, but alas, didn't make it, however, I'd be highly interested to see some other update add the maps officially.

I remember the Mayann Community Update was announced at about the same time when I was learning about Aztec, Mayan and Incan cultures in History class in highschool so I was MASSIVELY hyped to see an update themed around ancient pre-Columbian archaeology and ruins exploration. Needless to say, I love Ququmannz and I would love to see it added into the official map rotation.

If you didn’t know, The Winglet animated a trailer for the Mayan Project update. Like how end of the line had one. So it was likely that the community had 2 projects they were working on separately and submitted them to valve. And valve chose to have jungle inferno as the Pyro update.

I have a brilliant idea for a new gamemode. Inspired by the Command Centers gamemode in Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars, I call it Generators, and the goal is to destroy the enemy generator, which has a ton of health. A map concept I have for this gamemode is "gen_aquabase," which takes place in two undersea bases and the underwater location between it. To cross between these two bases, you have to scuba dive, and there are many entryways into the base. At the heart of each base is the Generator, which is surrounded by water. Basically, it looks like Koopa Cape from Mario Kart Wii.

Seeing some of these maps, the biggest issue with some of them I see has gotta probably be the animations of the endings and carts. Ququmannz needs a more real-looking plane takeoff imo. Humidity needs more rubble that has chances of hitting and crushing players, like the barrels in Badwater. Fishladder's boat sinking definitely needs more real sinking, and the tanks need a little less... straightness in how they fly to their next starting track. Consider maybe making it look like it hits certain walls and objects to spin and tumble around before it lands on each new track. _Sulfur itself definitely needs a little mini-movie at the start of entering the map, where you see the black and white movie showing how the map works. There is no negotiation; this map would be too confusing without it._

Honestly, having a weekly or even monthly map rotation under a "community maps" tab would be really dope. Even just giving the community a single map to test out every couple weeks would a). Give players more input on what maps get in, b) Give experienced players something new to test out periodically, and c). Encourage much more people to get into the map-making scene. I think we would see a boom of really creative maps, and would all around just be pretty fun.
