Absolutely love my Shadow 2 Compact! It's been one heck of a pistol. Will be crossing the 1K round mark next range trip and hope to do a full review. Ended up picking up a P-07 shortly after just to have something from the lower end from CZ's line up to compare to it. Man it's a great pistol too!

This is my EDC. I have the LOK Grip inlay Bogie grips (slightly thicker than oem grips but not as thick as the palm swell grips), dpms recoil kit, eemann tech ultimate brass trigger, TLR7 HL-X (double the lumens then the regular X model and looks much better with the longer end cap), Impact Precision optic plate with rear iron sight built in (one of the best plates for CZ pistols), Holoson EPS MRS optic. I changed the safety spring to a D S Perman’s Heavy Spring which gives the safety a much more positive engagement on and off. I carry it cocked and locked with no issue. It is AMAZING!

Excellent first look. I've been in love with mine since I acquired it. I'm really looking forward to your final assessment on this one. Especially some comparison videos. I bought a Shadow 2 Compact about a month ago and went went the Tlr 7xhl and put a Trijicon RmR type 2 and im having a hell of a time sighting the red dot in on this gun. But to be fair this is my first time running a red dot so im not giving up just yet. The gun was a beast with iron sights. Any suggestions on sighting a red dot in?

There are already tons of videos on how to sight in a red dot. I usually do mine at 15 yards. You can bench rest shoot to help make it more stable.

Your dot is probably loose. Take out screws, degrease and remove all old threadlocker from both screws and holes. Use permanent locktite and torque to spec. If it still moves on you, degrease and put an epoxy or construction adhesive under the sight when remounting.

I like your new pistol, and I'll follow along with great interest. I should just make it happen, I've wanted a SAO CZ hammer gun. No arguement with anyone's preference, but I won't carry that open, direct firing pin in any hammer position. On the other hand, removing the garbage makes those triggers something special.

@@i.a.n.t.r.e.z.e4936 The retail and resale value of the shadow two compact is atleast $300 more. And honestly, I’m not a fan of polymer frame striker fire guns. I only shot 100 rounds through it and it was OK nothing spectacular. The S2C much better. That was the first and only Canik I’ve ever owned. I mean it wasn’t bad. It had a good trigger, but other than that it was just ok

I love CZ, and i love my S2, but i still don't see the point of these with the P-01 models existing. The S2c seems to straddle a weird line of not really a comp gun and not really an EDC since it doesn't have a firing pin block. At least it's sexy AF, i guess

It really doesn't need a firing pin block, staccatos dont have firing pin blocks and law enforcement agencies approved them for duty use. My brother carries a staccato P on duty. There's also testing done here on youtube by people dropping shadow 2 compacts/hitting them with mallets and the primers weren't hit in its factory configuration. I've been carrying my S2C for a while now, it's an awesome gun and points extremely well for me.
