Andrea really is absolute nothing less than incredible. The chemistry and understanding with not only Loz as a coach but with Liz also just makes the whole team of you headed to greatness❤ (not like you’re not s champs in many ways anyway). *drinks from cherished Loz and Loz tea time mug*😂

This video was a great way to see how the Loz team is working and how hard it really is to reach the goals. Andrea is a beautiful beast! No back talking around her for sure LOL. Liz you lifted that sandbag like a champ (I realize you were pressured into it).

Andrea is looking great! I'm sure she's a threat for the next WSM competition. Seeing her struggle with the 70kg dumbbell really shows how amazing Sam Belliveau's world record of 83.3kg is, given that she weighs just 89kg vs Andrea's 120kg. Canada really is producing some amazing strength athletes.

@@andreathompsonstrong Sorry I was mistaken about your weight, Andrea. I got that number off a website which I can't find now. Interestingly, despite extensive searches, I can't find your weight anywhere.

@@Lickmabumbum that is entirely not true lol. If that were true there would be 67kg athletes outlifting 140kg athletes in powerlifting.

Loz, you are so damn amazing. I loved you as a Strongman competitor but now, slimming down to a bodybuilder body and training people, you're even more amazing than ever. As a 51YO, I am especially interested in your cut body and training. Thank you, brother, for bringing us along for the ride.

This shows how impressive they were at the cross fit games with the 250lb for women and mend 340lb granted for a 1rm rather than a medley for the sand bag. Andrea pushed the men to do it so awesome work

Love the dynamic you and Andrea have!! Like my coach says, it takes a keen eye and a lot of trust building to "learn" your athlete & know what your athlete needs in the moment to succeed. You see their potential & know exactly what they're capable of but you also know when they need an encouraging word or a deload day. 💪🏿❤ Can't wait to see Andrea CRUSH WSM!!!! Edit: Liz is a team GOAT 🤣🤣🤣🤣 she had me in the beginning there ngl

Andrea is a beast but watching her wrestle with that 120kg bag (and watching these big strongmen really struggle with it) really puts it into perspective what Dani Speegle did at the CrossFit games this year. She lifted a 250lb (113kg) bag comfortably at around 160lbs bodyweight. And I’m the men’s side they got up to 340 lbs (154kg)with most of them under 220lbs bodyweight.

How is the Achilles now with things like yoke Loz? I recently ruptured my own on yoke . I'm 4 weeks post op so jus focusing on recovering now but I will be very nervous going back to stuff like yoke and truck pull! Any advice would be great.
@BigLozOfficial2 жыл бұрын
Take your time when you do get back to it. This was the first session back on yoke for me and I was only using 240kg (in comps I've done over 600 and 450/500 was normal but it's important to build confidence slowly and allow the body to see how it reacts under load. My aches does affect my performance still but it's improving all the time. I actually find atlas stones and push pressing is affected more than yoke

I know I couldn't do but half the weight. But if I worked like Andrea did for 3days, putting it out as hard as I could. I'd eat 3kg of beef and then sleep for 48hrs. She's a unit and a half.
