A couple of the dresses were cute on you but I too had a bad experience with Nadine West. I kept one jacket which will work in summer to wear to the theatre and that’s it. The poor quality of their fabrics was appallingly to me! The jewelry they sent me was a joke. Like Walmart clearance quality. Actually I’d love to see you do a Walmart run and see what you find. … a friend told me that she liked their Time and Tru brand jeans and that brand in their other clothes as well. Totally surprised me but I did try a pair of that brand in their Birkenstock knockoffs and found them extremely comfortable with great support…and I have probably a dozen pair of Birkenstocks! Thanks for keeping it real with us! Can’t wait to see what you keep!

Oh dear. This brand has no idea how to dress a plus size lady. Don't feel bad about yourself. It is the clothes and not you. Do you have Evans in the US. Evans is a popular plus size brand in the UK which was purchased by an Australian company, City Chic. They do amazing clothes for plus size ladies and once you have found the size for you in each brand you can order anything afterwards and know they will fit as the sizes are very uniform. City Chic run a bit bigger than Evans. They have lovely well made clothes and have regular sales online. Nearly everything I have bought recently has been from them. I particularly love City Chic and their Avenue range as it has a relaxed almost hippy vibe which is very Australian. Your dog is gorgeous. Has a nose like my first ever dog, Daisy who was an Old English Sheepdog i.e. a Dulux dog. Great guard dog but looked like a Teddy bear. Sending best wishes from sunny but not too hot North Wales.

Hey Wendy! We do not have Evans, but I do have Avenue and have ordered through City Chic (I did not realize that they were Australian). I had not heard of City Chic until Dia and Co sent items to me from them. Dia marks them up very high compared to what I can order them for straight from the company! Thank you so much for the recommendation and kind words! This was my last Nadine West for a long time. I am putting the subscription on hold. You are completely right, they just do not know how to dress a plus sized figure! The fabrics are also pretty cheap feeling. Thank you, Lulu is half old English Sheepdog. We shave her in the summer because it is so hot, but she can get pretty teddy-bear like!

I ordered my first BloomChic and was completely disappointed. I ordered three bathing suits and two dresses. The first dress was a pretty prink in teal. The waste hit me around the bust, the belt did not completely go around me and it was so long. The second dress was an adorable blue and white stripe to two layer flutter sleeves. It had pockets and darts to give it some shape. Loved the color, the pockets and sleeves. It was a bit too lose, and way too long. If I keep it I would have to have it Taylored. Lastly, I prefer my bathing suite a bit on the snug side. I find that they stretch out quite a bit when wet to counteract the snugness. The tummy control was not as firm as I like and had removable pads in the bust area. I am a 3X and I am 5 feet one inch tall. I understand girl. I have very similar problems also with getting clothes that fit.

Oh no, Jean- I hate that you were disappointed! I have a swim suit on order, but it isn’t here yet. I hear you in the wanting your swim suits to hold you in- that is the only way I feel comfortable swimming! I hadn’t even thought about length on their dresses- I am 5’10” and always get irritated when things are too short, I am sure that you are the exact opposite! I did have someone tell me that Bloomchic has an automated return system now, as opposed to emailing like we used to. I think that that must be what it is. The fabric is pretty inexpensive on most items, but the cut is just awful on so much of the clothing sent through this service. Looking at how short some of the tops are, I think that you are right, they just scaled up their regular patterns…

The animal print looked good on you. If you had liked the color, you could have worn it with black leggings. All of the dresses looked good. The black one definitely the best one…looked great on you. I have had 3 Nadine West bags so far and have been able to buy something each time. I haven’t had any ‘iffy’ boxes at all. I have noticed that some of the items on the list don’t match what I actually receive so I always make sure to give very detailed info on everything right away before I forget. It is definitely a ‘discount’ subscription so I don’t expect it to be as good as Stitchfix ( which I prefer) but overall, I really haven’t had bad luck with them so far. I’ve seen some people complain about them online but until I see a downturn, I will keep going with them.

It is a Rode wireless mic- it made a huge difference! Initially, I was using a wireless mic from Amazon, there was so much interference. I film on my phone, and anytime a call or notification came through, the sound was effected. I did not even have a great run on airplane mode- totally recommend the Rode mic!

I specifically looked to see of you had a Nadine West video, because i wanted to know if anyone else had the same awful luck! My first delivery was end of August, I had 3-4 pieces of the crushed velvet, same colours as what you got. They were HUGE too. I didn't keep anything. Got another delivery yesterday, and the sizes were all over the place. I got that black floral shirt too and it fit awful. Moving on!

It is hard to cancel- they send you many emails with deals to stay, but after 3-4, they finally cancel. The quality just was not there for me, either- and more than one crushed velvet piece is excessive any time of year, but particularly in the summer!! I have really liked stitch Fix, wantable, and somewhat liked DAILYLOOK. They are very hit or Miss, but I still look forward to getting it, so I may keep it up until that completely wanes! I am sorry that you had a rough experience- cheers to bigger and better things!!

I really like that first dress. It looks really great on you. Wear thigh savers that are same colour as your skin - they are incredibly freeing with dresses and skirts. I keep editing my comments with another item that looks terrific on you - the black dress - Wow!. The windowpane (?) pants - really made wrong with the lines not matching in the front - just wrong! Nice dress long with slit - colour is not good but style looks good. Purple dress is too short other wise ok. One last thing - how could they send a necklace that size to plus sized ladies. I think you are more classy than the clothes that they sent. I’ve seen that necklace for much less and it would fit. Black pants were poorly made, everyone who sews would match the patterns. You’re right the white pants did not look good in front, but know your assets and back into a room 😅. Dresses fit but you have much nicer clothes in your closet or coming in the mail.

I was thoroughly unimpressed by Nadine West. Cheaper than Stitch Fix, yes, but all of the clothes/jewelry felt cheap. Walmart cheap (and I shop at Wally so I’m not dissing them. But I’m not paying NW prices for Walmart quality). Almost nothing fit in my first bag in 2x so I went up to 3x and the sizes were hit or miss. Stitch Fix understands which brands run small, large and true to size, and they adjust accordingly. Nadine West just sends the size. They sent me multiple leggings first time, which I will never, ever wear. I made that comment after the first fit and I swear they doubled down with the second/third, sending me leggings and jeggings. Two pieces of jewelry were broken on arrival, the rest were so cheap looking. I also said NO dresses from the get go. Always 1-2 dresses. I stopped after the 3rd shipment and didn’t buy a single thing in any of them. But now after watching your channel I have a few other options! Excited to try Wantable and Dia. I checked out Fashom but they are currently only offering $95 boxes ($85 with your code). No mystery boxes. I’ll check back occasionally and may still try them. I’m also doing a closet purge by getting rid of the “when I lose some weight” clothes. I too have some that have been sitting in my closet for 20 years! I think you said in another video something like, I don’t need that negative energy. So true. Thanks for the motivation to do that, and inspiration to try some new things that will make me happy now.

I tried Nadine West once and was not impressed. All the clothing was too small (I normally wear a 1X or 2X and even items marked 3X were too small) and very cheap feeling. I have no desire to try them again.

Jennifer, I finally canceled- I’m in a 3X and typically the majority wouldn’t even come close to fitting- what a shame that they did not work for you! Honestly, the quality just wasn’t there, either, in my opinion!

I completely appreciate that, Diane- this whole service was just not for me! It would come in and I would thing ‘ugh, I’ve got to do that again!’ It took so much effort to cancel(about 5 emails holding my ground as they offered more discounts)

I will not for sure. I really appreciate you sharing your opinion. I have actually decided to put Nadine West on hold, as I have so many other great brands to showcase. I think that this bag was remarkably good for this subscription service, and it was still not very good.

I would seriously consider stop getting this brand… IMO it looks like they are sending you cheap Chinese clothing and charging you triple! I wouldn’t keep anything… There are much better clothing out there for you that is better quality, fit and fashionable!

I actually sent them an email this morning to put my account on hold. You are right, you just cannot compare the quality to shops like Bloomchic. I can find similar prices if I shop a good sale at Lane Bryant or Torrid!

This was not a good haul. Not a fan of Nadine West. The dresses minus the long one were to short for you. Just being truthful. Your other try ones from other box sites have worked beautifully for you but not this one
