Haha pretty much! Chris’s dream car when he was younger was the V8 Maloo Ute so I think in some ways he finally had his ‘moment’ 😂

Thank you and yes I was wondering what it would sound like without an exhaust. All that's missing from the in cab is the supercharger and the sound track will be perfects. Sounds amazing though

The straight pipe sounded so good but yeah that would get annoying fast cruising down the highway. The new exhaust sure wakes that engine up nice though.

We’d be deaf in a year! 😂😂 It’s sounds great when driving now we’ve worn it in a bit, if you put your foot down it’s definitely there but if your just cruising it’s not much different to what it was standard, really good setup for touring👌🏻

I went with the pacemaker king brown still aussie made stainless steel exhaust and black friday price of $950 less than half the price of the torqit sound very similar too

Did you try a before and after acceleration test with a stopwatch to check for any measurable performance improvement? It sounds great. But how will it be for comfort after hours of highway driving with that in the background?

We didn’t measure if it improve the performance at all. It’s sounds great when driving now we’ve worn it in a bit, if you put your foot down it’s definitely there but if your just cruising it’s not much different to what it was standard, really good setup for touring👌🏻 thanks for watching mate 😁

Hi Chris and Sian, what a great channel, wonderful coverage on the trip of a lifetime. We are trying to decide whether to purchase a new TI Y62 and do it up like you have done or whether to go with a 2nd hand, kitted out LC200. This will be partially determined by total costs. I see sometimes you share costs on your fitments but not always, are you prepared to provide a spreadsheet showing all the costs of the various improvements you have made? I'm certain Sian already has such a listing, thanks in advance

Hey John, We have worked everything out from beginning to end and will share this in the final build episode along with final weights etc. Your right about me too, I definitely have a spreadsheet LOL 💁🏼‍♀️👌🏼 ... Not sure when you are purchasing, but if this helps, overall we have spent under 100K for our fitout. Price was also a big factor for us and we didn't want to go over the 100k mark with whatever we built. Our final episode for the build will be in late Jan/early Feb (we have one more thing being fitted as we speak then it is finished!) Cheers mate and thanks for watching 🍻

Sorry mate we’re probably a bit late now and you’ve already fit yours! Hardest part is getting the end of the exhaust over the rear wheel suspension area, you might need a second set of hands for that part. Otherwise it’s a few hour job. Make sure you tighten your bolts and check them after a few days, ours loosened a bit and needed adjustments. Hope it goes well! 🤟🏻
