1.55 ten yard split, same as Lamar… insane initial quickness
@eliteteamkiller319
@eliteteamkiller319 6 ай бұрын
Apparently that's not accurate. Not the 1.55 ten yard split, and the fact that it's elite for a QB. But the claim that Lamar ran a 1.55. Nevertheless, that's about Christian McCaffrey's ten yard split.

Born and raised and still in the city. So I have been a niner fan since I knew what football was. So since 1967-68. I was shooken in the first half. The way the 49ers came out in the second half and stole this game from Detroit was legendary. What a win and a chance again to get number 6. Young man the way you look at the game is the way a lot of people watch the game. You could have been in my living room the way you do the commentary is the way it goes in many games where there is a group of friends watching and talking about the game. Keep them coming.

Also when it was 24-24 and the niners kicked it to make it 27-24 they didn’t call a late hit on Brock purdy helmet to helmet which would’ve gave them 15 yards and they would’ve most likely scored being so close to the end zone, should’ve been 31-24 but they didn’t call it in just happy we won
@tracymeahan
@tracymeahan Жыл бұрын
30:26 "What did the Niners start doing differently?" I know you're going to diagnose the coverage adjustments in a minute, but the short answer is their job. Bosa was quoted by players afterward as saying at halftime to take away Goff's initial read and that would give the rush time to get to him. But ultimately they started defending the run and clogging gaps better. And the entire team decided at halftime that the first half "(wasn't) the way we wanted to go out."
@tracymeahan

48:36 one more thing, regarding the McCaffrey tackle right before the Elijah Mitchell plunge it wasn't a concussion but it actually had to do with his neck. He should be ok for the Bowl from what I'm hearing though

@tracymeahan........all the 49er halftime adjustments still wouldn't have mattered if Detroit had played clean football. They didn't and San Francisco did. Hats off to them. They capitalized on every Detroit mistake. The Reynolds drops ending two Detroit drives in 49ers territory, the Gibbs fumble in Detroit's end, and especially the missed interception that bounced off vildor's facemask right into the hands of the 49er receiver.
@tracymeahan
@tracymeahan Жыл бұрын
@@stevep2380 I see your point, but Vildor's helmet ricochet was going to be a DPI (watch the tape, he obstructed Aiyuk on his route) until they picked up the flag after BA made the catch because the flag would have been a moot point. So even if he picks the ball off, it's a spot foul and the ball goes back to SF. But yes, I agree that Detroit fell apart in the second half and it's likely they hold on if they play clean ball. But after the comeback the Bills put on the Oilers in 1992, I don't take anything for granted and who knows if SF doesnt come back anyway. It was only 17 points and Detroit's defence is meh, especially on the back end.

Thank you for the incredible breakdown. As a 49er Faithful who was at the game yesterday, I loved being able to watch your play breakdowns, slo-mo, and stop-action analysis. The atmosphere at the game was absolute 🔥especially when CMC tied it up with his TD. But you do miss some parts of the game when you're there live - your video allowed me to relive the game and also see those little things I missed. At the game I noticed CMC hit his head on the ground once, but saw in your review that it actually happened 3 times (once on a defender). One thing I really liked about the game in general - only 5 penalties for both teams combined (and IMO no big missed calls). And one of Detroit's 2 penalties was that early touch for onside kick at very end of game. This one was all about the players. This was my 4th NFC Championship and been to countless WC & Divisional playoffs and it was the most exciting game I've ever been to!! Much respect to the Lions and their fans who showed up at Levi's. Also PS - I was watching a lot of the "big name" sports pundits from major network & cable channels on YT trying to find one that would break down the game - they seem to mostly enjoy taking all about themselves and talking over each other, Then your channel was suggested to me and you provided exactly what I was looking for!

Honestly, that deep ball that Aiyuk caught that bounced off the defenders head was luck, but also could have been a straight catch for TD if not for the PI. If you watch prior to the ball hitting the defender, BA gets bumped up front and slows him down just enough. Purdy was about to throw a dot there

BigR always putting out the best analysis. The Aiyuk pass would have been completed if he had not been bumped. The flag was picked up because he caught it anyways. The narrative going around that "this would have been an INT" is nonsense. Had BA not caught that, it would have been DPI.

I gotta give a game ball to Jennings for that magnificent catch and presence of mind to make it. Is Brock back in the MVP conversation? It was Lamar's to lose and he didn't show up and step into the moment. Purdy did. The Chiefs punked those Ravens. Patrick Mahomes... Dat Boy Bad!!!

On the Jamieson TD ( 3 plays in ) it's the pulling guard that sells it to Bosa and the LB's that it's a run. That's one example of when " reading your keys " lies to you. lol well designed, and executed play. Edit: Gipson stripped him. Purdy's 40 time is, about average. His 10 yard split though is right there with Lamar's. 1.6 or so If I remember right.

The thing was tho is the kicker was inconsistent during the season with missed field goals , in the playoffs , so he was unreliable. Just cuz it’s a cheap shot for most doesn’t mean you’re always gonna make it, chance of it being blocked as well. Plus the niners were giving up all game 3 and long and 4th downs in the half. So the odds were technically in their favor

Thanks for a breakdown my guy❤ . Im a niners fan and i appreciate you taking your time to let us watch in more detail. Definitely subbing. Seahawks should have a great future i hope! Idc about team rivals to much since im only a fan not a player but i respect how each team plays with the accessories they have. ..some teams have more than others. Im stil very very shocked pete carrol is out. I never saw that coming. I figured McCarthy would be gone before pete. As a Seahawks fan what do you think? You think its Pete and its time for a change?Does pete do the scouting or gm? Some general managers or/and owners do(cowboys) as u know so just wondering . Thanks for being real about #13 idk why people wanna hate mr relevant so much. Hes proved alot for such a young guy. Nobody ever talks about him coming back from a pretty bad injury on his throwing arm yet still manages to lead the league in several categories. Anyways enough about my favorite team what u feel about the coaching change? Do u like it? Do u not wanna see Pete chewing gum on the sidelines anymore or do u think they should have let pete have more control?😂. I dont dislike the seahawks... we got to have sherman cause of them for awhile. I respect what they've done. Russel leaving has ruined him): Btw i definitely respect pete Carrol. The man is a genius and brought Seahawks to another level. There are soooo many coaches out there in the world of football but not all whatsoever make a name like Pete Carol...andy reid. Bill belichek...sean Payton bill walsh etc

About your Pete question I think it was time for him to go we just need a different direction but I love that he will stay with the team in an advisory role to help develop talent.

@@BigR365 ohh great that's nice I wasn't aware yet he was gonna be advising. I agree though sometimes it is best to start fresh in a new direction and see where that takes the team. I'm sure it'll work out great. Obviously Pete is legend but it's time for a new legend to unfold for the Seahawks brand.

See how Branch [32] tries to stamp on Brock Purdy's knee after the scramble - about 48 minutes in. What trash. So glad we beat these dirty Fs.
