Derail Valley Career 2025 ep 4 The DM1U-150 Utility Rail Vehicle

Welcome to Derail Valley and a fresh start Playthrough for a new career as a train driver. Not sure where this series will go as I am not very knowledgeable about trains. Let's face it I know nothing about trains but am hoping the progression in this game won't be to difficult and we as a novice will manage.
My channel has been reset as you can see and I am starting from scratch more or less. Hopefully I will be able to be motivated to bring you content you will like and want to watch.

A lot of people seem to have missed it, but with the Simulator release engine temperature stopped being a thing and the gauges now show the traction motor temperature (hence the label TM Temp). You still want the radiator at the front so the controls are in front of you not behind you, but it doesn't help with the cooling. The only way to cool traction motors is by putting less current through them (i.e. less throttle) or by going faster - forwards or backwards - so air blows over them faster. The abandoned engines have a lot of spawn locations to choose from and it's random which ones you get. Devs have said the spawn locations are all at or near stations, not out in the countryside. You can get more than one engine at one station, it's all random. If you REALLY want to cheat, each time you go through a new station go into your settings and turn the bushes right off and have a quick fly around. The game will look terrible but the engines will just be sitting out in the open, way easier than working down a list of possible spawn locations.

On finding Demonstrators. There is a full list of locations on steam, but i will for now not post it since i don't know if you want to find them on your own. But if you want, i can post the link.

@@blackeagle1985 would be great the one that I want to find is the de2 yes I know it's just the base train but I have the lic for it already and it's a simple train
