In this video, we explore humanity's longstanding fascination with the possibility of alien life, tracing back to ancient civilizations. We examine the Fermi Paradox, questioning why we haven't encountered extraterrestrial beings despite high probabilities. The Drake Equation's methodology for estimating the number of potential civilizations in our galaxy is detailed. We also discuss the Kardashev Scale for classifying alien civilizations and the concept of the Great Silence, addressing the lack of alien signals. Additionally, theories like the Great Filter, Rare Earth, Cosmic Quarantine, and Dark Forest hypotheses are explored, each offering unique perspectives on the existence and detectability of alien life. Finally, the potential of the James Webb Space Telescope in unveiling signs of extraterrestrial existence is highlighted, raising the possibility that discovering alien life might be imminent.

Perhaps our media has been preparing us through a highly compartmentalized bureaucratic structure. I believe they have always been here, and we might not be true Terrans but rather an artificially evolved species. I think various types of 'people' from the interstellar neighborhood visit, live in the seas, and inhabit underground spaces-perhaps the true Terrans, as cursory research would suggest is the correct phrase. At this point, nothing would surprise me anymore.

Aliens may evolve in ways we cannot fathom. Using the energies produced biologically to traverse the cosmos in FTL speeds by using the expansion of space. If we remain on the same evolutionary path, we will become Dalek-like. We increasingly use technology to do things that we should be happy that we have the dexterity to accomplish. Our bodies are a complex network of machines, systems and computers working with efficient cohesive processes. A thing if immense beauty.

How would one use the expansion of the universe to travel in any other direction other than away / outwards. I know the universe is expanding everywhere all at one time but technically if they go faster than the speed of light end up in whatever location they end up in.. The expansion of the Universe we're actually stop them from travelling back to where they came from because the expansion of the universe is Faster Than Light. This is well known paradox of a sort.

Agreed. It has been a lot less 100 years since we realised that there were a whole galaxy beyond our solar system. Humans ASSUME that we are the highest form of life on this planet. We PRESUME that the moon is ours, simply because it orbits our world. Likewise all the moons, planets and stars that we can see are to be COLONISED, CONSUMED and SUBJUGATED for our benefit. It seems that we have not evolved as far as we thought. As to the mind-numbing distances involved, we act as though they are a mild inconvenience, rather than an almost insuperable barrier, because of all the science fiction programs we consume. Sad that we have become so spiritually backward to have adopted this perspective on the cosmos. Better that the human race learns it's hard lessons about sustainability and ecological balance here first before potentially subjecting of sentient species to our uneducated presumption. We can't even communicate effectively with the species we share this world with. Imagine what those species would know that we don't. We can't even begin to quantify how much they might know.

Fall from grace... I find that concept a bit bizarre. If two humans were created out of dust and set on a planet, without any knowledge whatsoever, then having no concept of either good or bad, how would they have known if they did something bad? And the narrative goes on to say that they were _tempted_ with the offer of knowledge, which, wouldn't you thirst for knowledge? Wouldn't anyone? So how is that bad? How is attaining knowledge a bad thing? And they argue that they broke the rules, but if they were never told that breaking the rules was "bad," then how the hell were they supposed to have known? It just doesn't add up logically. They would've been _innocent._ (I take odds with the word _ignorant_ because it implies _ignoring_ something rather than not knowing.) And why was the one who gave them the knowledge called evil for doing so? Why was that one referred to as a snake? There's just too much information either missing or intentionally redacted. There's not enough detail to flesh out the story. I know from other ancient texts that there's more to the story than what we're told by the establishment, they all leave something out. They don't convey the truth, they convey a story which only leaves one puzzled and frustrated, and still thirsting for more. There's got to be a _reason_ why they feed us lies. First we must figure out who we really are, and who _they_ really are. Seems to me like the reason for keeping a population "ignorant" might be to ensure that they won't rebel against their overseers... I don't know, so all I can do is speculate. But it seems like _They Live_ really _is_ nonfiction, and it seems more and more so everyday. Politics is a joke. It's just a bunch of rich, self-entitled assholes blowing hot wind while accomplishing nought but preserving the status quo, ie: keeping the rich rich and the poor poor. Or keeping the slaves enslaved. That's what it seems to _my_ senses, anyway. Keeping us ignorant keeps us perpetually in bondage, and _them_ perpetually in power, it keeps us from standing up and claiming that which is rightfully ours. It keeps the knowledge and power unfairly distributed among _them,_ and unreachable by us. But then what do I know? I'm just another fuckin observer. I'm just another booger in the giant's nose hairs. Or a dingleberry on its ass, maybe. I'm just a tradesman, I ply my trade. I never studied calculus, but I could build you a hell of a doghouse.

Very informative and comprehensive summary on ideas of our place in the Universe and possible results of contacts with other species representing inteligent life different then ours that created extraterrestial civilizations. It gives all the outlooks and possibilities that have been explored by Humans so far, but in my opinion lacks one thing that is crucial and at the same time commonly ignored by scientists - the UFO phenomenon. There are numerous observations of such incidents, some more and some less convincing, but all of them showing that we seem to live in a scenario of ZOO hypotesis. I am personally convinced that Universe is full of life and the fact that we have not met any extaterrestials yet does not prove otherwise. In the mind bogglingly huge, possibly infinite Universe everything is possible, and to believe in anthropic principle, strong or week, is a very naive stand. Yes it seems ridiculous. What is more ridiculous is thinking that a more advanced negative species wouldn't be able to take over Earth, and would do so in a unseen stealth matter. Remember we are a rural planet in the Milky Way. It's our location in the Milky Way that enables these psychotic "aliens" to control and manipulate our perception of reality. there is another hypothesis with no name that comes from a philosophical position: That a fundamental competition between selfishness and selflessness permeates all levels of living existences, and that this root philosophical issue becomes increasingly more the focus of importance to evolving intelligent societies. This leads to an inevitability where every space faring civilization initially seeks out conversation with new alien societies, only to learn that all societies are already struggling with the same problem, and none have any significantly advanced perspective beyond the rest. This causes aliens who run into earth and discover humans ascertain easily that we are already in that struggle as well, with no answer to provide. and so they gain nothing significant by making conversation with us. This is different than assessing "are humans a threat". and its different than a zoo hypothesis (observation to gain valuable information). Its a much more lazy reasoning of "does it really matter?" they dont have to put energy in to making contact, they also dont need to avoid it, they also dont need to worry about our threat level because they can grow at the same pace as us anyway. This weird middle ground means that many alien civilizations avoid us, while some small set spend additional timing observing for their reasons, and a separate small set seek our destruction for their reasons, and a seperate set seek our protection like the star trek prime directive for their own reasons, and a seperate set are actively trying to make contact sending ufos but having to avoid the other aliens already here they have to do quick in and out missions, while some other set may be slowly building a fleet large enough to ignore any other civs complaints to show up here and make contact. Its more like a cosmic salad of explanations which are all simply secondary to the root issue in the universe: no one anywhere can fundamentally prove one of these two sides objectively "correct" and so all of their behaviors are simply arbitrary choices made for reasons most often simply based in tradition or what they arbitrarily decided was more entertaining to complain about over a cup of tea.

I think that, in order to evolve, these so-called advanced civilizations, that are hundreds, even thousands of years ahead of us, must have figured out how to peacefully exist. They are not necessarily extraterrestrial. I think that when we experience the Phenomenon our perceptual apparatus is overwhelmed and simply unable to make heads or tails of it, so our brain/mind imagines an effect that turns out to be extraordinary and beyond our ability to comprehend or describe. So we begin verbalizing and/or illustrating the most peculiar and absurd scenarios knowing all the while that we are not even scratching the surface of that which we actually beheld. Because it is not possible for us to do so.

@@stevenswitzer5154 well, I don't believe they came from somewhere in the galaxy or that they could travel the galaxy. I theorize that they came from Mars when it became uninhabitable. Yeah, I know the timelines don't matchup but no one's even set foot on Mars to even run proper tests. It first needs to be explored, there could be areas of great importance that can hypothetically be hiding the most ancient artifacts humanity could possibly find. There is a monolith of Deimos, one of Mars' moons. That needs to be inspected and documented, that will change everything that we know, imo. We're closer to the sun than Mars is, it damages them. So they chose to dwell under the surface or at the bottom of the oceans. Where they can't be bothered by us or those who would want to capture and study them, or worse!

I saw my first one at 16. 2 more by 20. But last year really changed me, when I saw 3 in less than 6 weeks. The 2nd one was a black triangle the size of a navy destroyer that floated less than 100 ft over my head. A few days later a ball of light the size of a small EV, 12 ft up, drifted right over and past me. But it didn't light up the darkness, and it flew like a dandelion seed on the wind. (there was a lost time incident too few weeks later that really blew the top off my mind, but that's another story)

With a lot of these questions yet to be answered, it is still very reassuring to see that our man species is catching up to what was written in Scripture approximately 3,500 years ago, as recorded in the King James Version (KJV) Bible in Genesis *2:1; Daniel 2:43; Revelation *12:9 which has us to understand that our "universe/earth" is teeming with life.

Sorry but not buying the Biblical connection. The Bible is talking about supernatural/imaginary beings. The Bible authors had no idea of how our planet worked let alone how the rest universe worked. They literally thought that having livestock breed in front of striped sticks would result in their offspring being striped, and that God kept snow & hail in Heavenly storehouse for times of war & trouble. THESE are examples of the level of scientific knowledge & thinking that existed 3,500 years ago. Christians see what they want to see when they attempt to interpret the Bible. Funny how some Christians bust on science constantly, and say that they don't need science because they have "faith" but as soon as they find something that they think is "scientific" in the Bible, they parade it around as "evidence" that the Bible can be backed up by science. That's called "having your cake and eating it too".
@oscarwindham6016
@oscarwindham6016 6 ай бұрын
First of all, you couldn't be any more misinformed when it comes to what is recorded in the KJV Bible, and secondly you should never lump all Christians into one group. As for the understanding of our early man species when came to animal husbandry and the different weather occurrences, we're talking about supernatural favor from God toward a specific individual and the poetic description of weather events were more than an actual nuts and bolts assessment. As for the KJV Bible being far, far and away ahead of science, I'll let you in on what is about to be "discovered" and maybe even by the JWST. It will soon be revealed that our universe that I call our "universe/earth" for reasons not explained here, is encapsulated by a firmament beyond which is the infinite kingdom of heaven, but the emphasis for now, is the firmament that encapsulates our universe/earth just like there is the encapsulating firmament around our planet earth that is irrefutable. Anyway, this universe/earth encapsulating firmament "probably" has a reflective inner surface which would mean or does mean that there really aren't as many stars in the night sky as we currently think that there are. This would mean that our universe/earth isn't as big as we currently think that it is and this would mean that our universe/earth isn't as old as we currently think that it is which premises in toto, if or when proven to be accurate means that I have a Pulitzer Prize in my future because all of this is contained in my Windham, Hypothesis which is 100% Scripture based. Go to rumble, the POOFOOSIE channel, the video titled Earth means Universe means Earth.@@rboland2173

Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. There is more evidence of visitation than people would expect; but a sense that only some are ready to acknowledge this. Telepathy is a fundamental technology which humanity has yet to master, even its suggestion seems alien, yet this is a step we must take if we are ready to meet our visitors; our consciousness is being prepared, only fear prevents our endeavours to expand it. Once this is understood all you need to know will be revealed, we are being called, do you hear the call? If yes, your journey has begun.

Wouldn't a dyson sphere render the surrounding star system uninhabitable by blocking out so much of the light?
@anothernuther8955
@anothernuther8955 6 ай бұрын
In theory, the Dyson sphere would collect and transmit energy, much more efficiently. Rather than shining it off in all directions into the vacuum of space (most of it missing the planets in the system) the Dyson sphere would collect all of it and channel it directly where it would do the most good for the inhabitants of that system.. for us that would be heating, lighting, transport, mining, manufacturing, food growth, etc. in theory It would make uninhabitable planets warm or cool enough for life to thrive.

The majority of the worlds population are accepting of the fact that we are not alone, and though the initial contact might be a jolt, contact would be great for humanity. Humanity is more than ready to accommodate ET, it's quite simply time for them to arrive. it's simply got to happen. The truth of the matter the governments of the world and most of the worlds religious institutions, not all are not so accepting of such a shift.

Hello World Human population! We are your Cousins. We are terrestrial Primates, like you, who have branched off from the ancestors of your Homo Sapien line millions of years past. We have stayed behind while much of our kind have been traveling to the closest stars. Like you, we climbed down from the trees, but went underground for safety. We now fly our craft through underwater portals back to our cities in underground Earth. Some of our flights are purely recreational but we have spent much of our resources studying & watching your species since the development of nuclear devices. Through millions of years, our skin has greyed and our eyes have evolved due to lighting conditions underground. We find life comforting there, as the Sun`s radiation is now harmful to our skin and eyes. It is our one imperative on this planet to live in peace. This is why our portals can never be breached and contact is out of the question.

The contention that there other beings who might frequent our skies or even our back yard or some occasions even in the presents of people is likely; given that such beings have been known throughout history. Those already occupy our world and have for eons; perhaps in a different dimensional space, while being able to find port ways into our space given specific parameters, for which they have become fluent with.

Continue our own evolution of hominid, we're getting smaller, weaker which means smaller arms legs ect., we're less hairy as time passes, we're getting larger brains which means larger skulls. The mouth gets small because of not needing to speak with telepathy. We've started developing telepathy technologically today, already. This WILL eventually cause the mouth and jaw to be smaller. It's actually already happened/ happening, look at our ancestors jaw. Think of it the same as how Asians eyes open less bc of the freezing cold icy conditions their specific ancestors went through. You squint your eyes in cold wind. ❄️ 🌬️ We've even discovered ancient eye coverings from the region that literally only gave a slit to see out, this way it blocks out most of the cold wind. Evolution is beautiful.
