This is my interpretation of the story:Ravi did say its about a man's agony which he feels when his lover is leaving him. So then that invitation is for her wedding with this other dude. So then Leo tells her this beautiful lie, that he's cool with that because he thinks that being away from him is what's best. Ravi -Leo's conscience; portrays the truth which is he's seriously not okay with it and wants to stop her because he still loves her. So at that key bit, that represents the key to Leo's heart. You see, that was his very last chance to stop her because the whole time she was expecting to be stopped. Leo, still bullshitting himself, reaches for the key because you know, he believes she's better off with whoever it is she's being wedded to. But Ravi knocks the keys away and for that split second, she sees through Leo's lie. When she turns to leave, Leo fights with himself, trying to restrain himself from chasing after her. The part where Leo + Ravi embrace is Leo accepting the truth because they are one in the same. Somewhere near the end, Leo says "Its a beautiful pain, letting you go" meaning, even if he's in extreme agony, its worth it if she's going to be happier without him. It isn't until the end that he realises he's been bullshitting himself the whole time with the whole "I'm happy for you" thing as he says "I'm a beautiful, no, cowardly liar." But by then Ravi detaches from Leo since what's done is done .

#LRStardustChallenge To me, Ravi is closer to the true personality because he's the truth : the raw emotions, trying to get out by all means. Leo is the lie, he's a mask, never showing his true self, always holding back (shown when he's moving away from the girl at 2:14). So even if they are the same person, I think Ravi represents more who he REALLY is and Leo represent more who he THINKS he should be.

9 years later, I still think this MV is one of the best K-pop MVs. I like how both Leo & Ravi is the same person. Ravi is like Leo's inner demon that is why you see him knock off the key and Leo trying to stop himself and letting the girl go at the end. Just like the lyric, Leo is wearing a 'mask' and acting all cool but his real self is actually Ravi which is dying on the inside trying to stop the girl from leaving. Leo calls himself a 'beautiful liar', but actually a 'cowardly liar' that he himself admitted at the end. Beautiful beautiful MV!

+Scarlet Stone love this comment x) you should definitely check out some of Vixx's other songs/MVs! they're known as "concept-dols" for their versatility and dedication to each concept they come out with, on top of their great vocals/choreography. most MVs also have some sort of plotline or an underlying theme that ties everything together, which gives an added layer of depth to the whole production! I'm not a kpop stan either even though there are a number of talented groups out there, but Vixx really has something special about them. they're the only group I can 100% call myself a fan of, not just musically as artists, but as people, too!

This is still honestly MY MOST FAVOURITE SONG BY VIXX EVER..Tbh it's probably one of the greatest Kpop songs I've heard and I've been listening to kpop for like 5 years. I first listened to this about a year ago, but every time I comeback to view it I'm STILL stunned by how it's like the most perfect balance of intensity, sadness, beauty and vocals with rap. LR is an amazing subunit. When I first learned the meaning for this song I was blown away. Everything just fits PERFECTLY- And the symbolism is so well executed. It's meaningful without being overly pretentious and over the top. I love that so much.

You and me both, my friend. My first Vixx MV was Error, and it was... BEAUTIFUL. It's a beautiful song and it's just really polished and clean cut and gorgeous... but it I watched it only once. Because it was just. Too. SAD. It wasn't until I watched Voodoo Doll for the first time that I really started to warm to them musically. I found several of their songs that I liked, and this MV has really brought them up in my estimation. I Really enjoy their dark material. I still have major issues with the way they tend to make tonal shifts from comeback to comeback. Shifts so drastic that if you watch them all in chronological order (which i can only recommend that you do) they like, make your ears pop or give you a nosebleed.

I came here as an incle because of smtm4/smtm3 and the whole Bobby and Ravi diss thing. I thought Ravi was a good rapper who, like others, were embarrassed on the show and weren't able to show their full potential as a rapper. I found myself thinking about it last month and decided to check vixx out. I was expecting a group that was like others.. in a sense that the had visuals, good choreography, and amazing vocals, but didn't do much with the production of their music. I was wrong... These guys are something special. All of their concepts are so heart wrenching or mind blowing or cute. They cover a full range of music ... And ughhhhhhh ... I love this group so much. They're the second group where I can't choose a bias (my first is winner) I do hope these boys get more recognition and I hope there aren't such harsh feelings between Starlights and Ikonics. This seems like a mature fandom (like the shawols) and I don't see fan wars here, but I do see a lot of love and help. So thanks

This is one of the best MV I've ever seen. After watching it I was just sitting silently for about 5min. Leo is having depression and is not able to do anything. Ravi is like Leo's inner side. Dark and devil side, but the one who wants to protect him, from being miserable. I wish someone could tell me too "get the fuck your life together and stop being depressed". Okay I still can't get over the cinematography of the m/v though; the acting, lighting, transitioning between different scenes, and especially the emphasis on contrast between Leo and Ravi's characters (INCLUDING background props, clothing, acting, pretty much EVERYTHING) are so ON POINT. The M/V director did a really great job interpreting the emotions expressed in the lyrics and honestly in most of k-pop, there's usually just a vague storyline that "sorta" hints at the lyrics. So I'm super ecstatic bc this is a really beautiful M/V that has a clear plot instead of leaving it to the viewers to decide what's going on. Also this is the first VIXX release I'm a part of since becoming a recent Starlight so of course I am spazzing the heck out over this, LOL
