The way I interpreted Beautiful Liar is different from yours, I'm surprised. I always thought that it was: she's moving on from Leo and he's torn about it. EDIT: That's why she gave him a wedding invitation, because she's moving on, but not with him. Part of him wants to let her go because he wants her to be happy, even if it means he's not that source of happiness(Leo). And the other part of him wants to be selfish and hold her back so only he can have her(Ravi). Leo and Ravi are the same person, but they are his contrasting feelings. So he's having a battle inside himself to just let her go because he knows that's what's best for her. That's what the part in the mv when Leo and Ravi are fighting each other means. She's leaving, and deep down, he wants her to stay but he knows he has to let her go. EDIT: He's restraining himself(Ravi) and lieing for her happiness, and its tearing him apart.Then when she does leave all that's left of him is an empty shell, as seen in the mv. That's why it start and ends sounding empty, because that's how he feels. THAT'S JUST MY TAKE ON IT. I DON'T EVEN KNOW IF THAT'S RIGHT OR NOT OR IF THEY'VE OFFICIALLY SAID WHAT IT ACTUALLY MEANS BUT THAT'S HOW I INTERPRETED IT.

That's similar to what I thought as well. However, since Ravi is shown as 'white' and Leo as 'black' I thought Ravi might be representing his true inner feelings (the truth) while Leo is the 'beautiful lie' that is allowing him to let her go. So it's a battle between the truth and the lie. At the end of the song, Leo says "I'm a beautiful-no-a cowardly liar" so I think he regrets lying to her and rejecting the truth in the end. That's basically what you said with a small change to what they represent.

I've been waiting for VIXXxxxxxx I LOVE LOVE LOVE how detail you guys go musically. It answers so many reactions and un-named feelings I have for these beautiful songs. I got into these two songs much later because I only heard the chorus which neither hit me. But listening and watching the whole song/mv helped tremendously, because chorus is not everything, you just have to see the whole thing!! the more I listen to them, the more I appreciate the really really outstanding parts of the music. It's interesting how we interpreted Beautiful Liar differently. I saw the MV and interpreted the overall story like this: The girl (for some reason) broke up with Leo and moved on to another guy to the point she's getting married to him. Leo also thinks that this is the best for her. Therefore he put up a facade of a liar, saying (and trying to convince himself) that he's okay, that he can let her go, that he just wants her to be happy even if it's not with him. Although on the inside, there is this more raw and true feelings existing that is represented by Ravi. This true feelings is saying that he's actually not okay, that he can't let her go, and that he still loves her. That is why when his true feelings almost came out in front of her (can be seen from the scene where Ravi trying to chase her), Leo tried his best to fight himself and at the same time "hug" his inner self (Ravi) to calm him down and to retain the facade he's been putting up in order to let her go. And that is why he called himself a Beautiful Liar.
