That was a fabulous area! So beautiful! And you have such a great eye; they didn't look like much even after you dug them out of the ground! But they sure were beautiful after you cut them! Wow! It just goes to show you, you can't judge a rock by the dirt on the outside! Lol! Thanks Kate!

8:33 - Huh, that's a curious piece. It definitely looks like jasper, but the small fossils inside tell me it's some type of flint. It looks basically like a mix of the two, which I don't think is impossible but I've never seen that before. I mean, chemically they're very close, so who knows...

@@KatyDidRocks I saw you were out at Devil's Kitchen and watched your video just before I made one with my daughter out there. Today, 7/22/24, I found my biggest white mossy agate (I think that's what it is) outside of town in my favorite area. It weighs 1.5 pounds!

I like the format of this video. As I learn about your rocks, it's easier to relate to the "hunt, find, clean, slab" progression when it is shown in a short segment. Thanks for putting together this video and sharing the thrills of rockhounding.🪨⛏⚒💎🙏
