Are you allowed to keep what you find there or do you have to leave it? I would love to go find some treasure for myself. 😊

Well shoot! I missed the premiere. I was working and didn’t see the notification. Don’t feel bad about the video being messed up Kate. Mine is too that’s why I didn’t premiere it today too. Gotta figure out what to do. Lol you put me to shame on what you found compared to what I found. Lol. Well done. You are the expert though. I am extremely happy about my entire weekend out there though. Thank you so much for taking Josh and I along with you and sharing that other spot. I came home with a bunch of awesome rocks from both locations. You’re awesome.

What an amazing video! Such amazing finds! The TSA and the stromatolite were my favorites! Lol! No surprise there! But that beautiful blue TSA was awesome! And that was so nice of you to give them each a large Montana agate! Send them home with evidence of what makes the Yellowstone in Montana, one of the bucket list Rockhound destinations of the US! Thanks Kate❣️

Hi Kate! I’m catching up on your videos. You should look into getting some munjina(sp?) from Australia. It looks like a cross between Noreena and Mookaite!

Very cool agates! We just went to the first night dig of this year in the thunder egg bed. First time at the Polka Dot Mine. We had a blast and brought home several large half’s with stalactites in them.

Agates & Michigan Rob calls the nearly agates = "Magates", LOL.. Now you will have to bring Spray bottle w/ batteries, Backpack, & maybe even a screwdriver, &/or brush of some kind.. You are fun to watch..

Love watching you get really excited about the many beautiful rocks. Btw, how do you know the difference between banded chert, and banded jasper?❤

The only real difference is the color - at least as far as I know! :)

I'm using a cheap angle grinder from harbor freight with a diamond wheel to do rough surface flattening and will use this slower speed wet polisher for diamond polishing with the various grit sizes. The first check for water leaks went okay. I'll use tall rubber boots and woodworking leather apron for the full polishing effort on a 10 inch piece. I'm still pondering how to rig up a wood brace system for smaller pieces after that first big piece.
