Funny enough my grandmother has one of those Electrolux vacuum cleaners still to this day in a closet. realy exited for the nordic gold. But i still wonder what would happen if you took a car engine, strip off all the steel, and melt all together what is meltable, all in one big ingot. will it be briddle, or maybe all the metals seperate like that ingot in this video. I realy hope you like this idea... but for now NG all the way
@bigstackD8 күн бұрын
Hey buddy, cheers for the super thanks. I really appreciate it . I will eventually melt down what I can from a small car I recon but obviously 90% of it will be steel foam and plastic. The engine block gearbox alternator radiator rims wiring harness and a few other bits and pieces will easily be meltable but for me to melt them all together it would be impossible with the small furnaces I have . But if you did melt a lot of different metals together and you had too high of a aluminium content mixed with the Copper and zinc etc That would be very brittle and would quite easily break with a hammer hit to it. I’ve got quite a few big pieces at the end of my shed that I need to get through first and then maybe I will look at melting a small car but it would be a massive job but certainly would be entertaining and a very long video that’s for sure 👍🏻😁.

@bigstackD15 күн бұрын
Actually, next week won’t be huge, probably only seven or 8 kg as I was gonna do the Nordic gold big bar. That farm piece I picked up from my friend I’ll wait a bit because it’s got such a big radiator on it. I was gonna wait until my shredder has been built so that might be another couple months as that will make it a hell of a lot easier for me to make all the pieces crucible friendly. Thought I would mention it just in case you were thinking I was doing the farm piece next week 👍🏻
