Trade idea: Lakers Receive: DFS, Cody Martin, & Day’ron Sharpe Hornets Receive: Gabe Vincent, Zaire Williams, Jaxson Hayes & 2 2nd round picks via lakers (2025 via LAC, 2027) Nets Receive: D’Angelo Russell, Mcic, Hood-Schifino, & 2 2nd round picks (Hornets, Lakers -2025) The Lakers would acquire three solid roll players. They good two 3 & D players, and a solid big man which they have needed. The Hornets essentially would receive the two second round picks, alongside Williams who they can experiment with. They’d probably waive Vincent or maybe include him in another deal. The Nets would benefit from the second round picks, as well as the expiring contract of Russell, which can help open up even more cap space for them. They will also be able to experiment with Hood-Schifino, and Mcic is someone who could still play some after they are done selling or they could get rid of him as well. This type of trade wouldn’t give the Lakers a star, which is what they could be targeting-but it does make them better. It also allows them to be able to use the 2029 or 2031 first in another trade that they might like. Edit: Starting 5 for the Lakers would be nice: Reaves, Martin, Bron, DFS, Davis

Ive got a bunch of trades for you. Dont care for credit or anything just helping provide content. Some smaller sort of realistic ones: Trade 1 Pacers get Kuminga and Melton and the 2026 Hawks 2nd Warriors get Nesmith and Walker Explanation: Pacers give up 2 guys on cheap contracts for the next 2.5 years who both offer shooting and defense. They get a more athletic wing with higher upside, however, they have to pay Kuminga next season making it a bit of gamble. Warriors prepare for a more active trade season, turning 1 player into 2 while also gaining about 3 mill in space from the hard cap. Alternative version Pacers get Kuminga, Looney, Lindy Waters Warriors get Nesmith, Walker, and Robert Williams Explanation: Blazers get Melton, 2026 Warriors first top 18 protected turns into 2026 2nd from the Hawks, 2028 2nd from the Hawks, and 2031 2nd from the Grizzlies Warriors save just under 1 mill and get a potentially game changing big. Pacers get a backup big and clear up their lineup. Blazers get draft capital and clear cap for next season. Trade 2 Bucks get Jevon Carter and Patrick Baldwin Jr. Bulls get Pat Connaughton and top 20 protected 2028 pick swap Wizards get Marjon Beauchamp and a 2028 2nd from the Kings via the Bulls that is top 45 protected Bulls get a former champ and vet to help the young team for the rest of the year and possibly next year. They take on a little extra money and trade a 2nd so get a pick swap to do so. Bucks get some additional back court depth and also drop out the 2nd apron. Wizards trade someone they aren't invested in for a potential 2nd rounder. Trade 3 Knicks get Brandon Clarke Grizzlies get Mitchell Robinson Simple 1 for 1 trade where Grizzlies focus on improving their rebounding as they give up the most offensive rebounds in the league. Knicks focus on versatility where Clarke can play the 4 or 5 depending on opponents and also clear up a little wiggle room from the hard cap. Larger buy in by contender Pacers get Jabari Smith Jr, Dillon Brooks, and Landale Rockets get Siakam and Isaiah Jackson Explanation: Rockets go for it by getting a vet on a long term deal who has won a championship and has experience with Vanvleet. Pacers take a step back but get wing depth they've desperately been missing. Both teams stay out of the luxury tax Unrealistic but interesting trade Kings get KD Suns get Sabonis and Keegan Murray Explanation: Suns turn a short window into a much longer window. They lose some firepower but get size on both the wing and down low. Turning Nurkic into a backup could make him more valuable. They also benefit a little from the less is more theory by getting 2 players that don't have to score to be their most valuable. Sabonis can create offense and rebound better than anyone on their roster (Booker not included) and Keegan can defend the wing better than anyone not named Dunn. Kings go all in with the thought of competing for a championship or starting a rebuild in 2 years. They need some front court depth, which I'd assume comes from trading Huerter. However a closing lineup with Fox, DeMar, KD and Keegan offers a lot of versatility and size. Big blow up: Really its 2 trades Hornets get BI and Jerome Robinson Earl Pelicans get Grant Williams, Josh Green, and Salaun and the Dallas 2027 first round pick that's top 2 protected Pelicans also get Bruce Brown, Chris Boucher, 2026 Raptors unprotected first, Pacers 2026 top 4 protected first, a 2027 Raptors first swap, the Blazers unprotected 2025 2nd, and Raptors 2027 unprotected 2nd Raptors get Zion and Javonte Green Explanation: Pelicans go full restart here getting 3 full first a very valuable 2nd a first swap and another 2nd. They start over with Trey, Herb, Murray, Missi, and CJ. The argument can be made this is a bad return overall but here are the facts: Pelicans have never paid the luxury before and are currently in the luxury. They will be close next year without resigning BI (30 mill away now without using their mid level exception or signing rookies) meaning they likely have no interest in bringing him back. Zion’s health is a big question and seems as if it'll always be so getting draft capital isn't the worst option to simply wash your hands. They'll still be competent but without the expectations. It's also possible they only do one of these.

I like the rockets buying low on a Brandon Ingram. Love the energy and team but to me he’s much more consistent than Jalen green. Could they swap them since Jalen’s contract doesn’t kick in til next year? Because it gets us out of the long term bind with Jalen and if we want to cut ties with Ingram we can or atleast do that after the season and have room for Reed and amen to play guard minutes
