Bigtable, BigQuery, and iCharts for ingesting and visualizing data at scale (Google Cloud Next '17)

Great video. Can't believe even after 5 years of this video getting posted, many of the things explained are still valid. Just a question. When we are running federated queries on data residing in Bigtable, from BigQuery, will it affect the performance of other Bigtable users who may be accessing the same database for their OLTP needs. How do we overcome this? Do we have to create more nodes in Bigtable for the duration the federated queries run? Also, how do we refresh updated data on Bigtable on the newly created BigQuery table/view? Thanks much.
