Chicken Litter is applied on every acre of our farm. We looked at the Bunning, but our fields are so scattered it would take to much time with a tractor. We use a 3510 and 4520 Case floaters with New Leader spreader body's on them. Spread 4tons per acre at 10mph at 45foot wide, and can go down the highway at 45mph. Great video as always.

We spread hog manure on our fields. We raise hogs from start to finish. We currently have 450 hogs . When we spread the manure you can smell it for miles but the crops do good after we spread it. We send samples of the manure off to a lab so we can find out the nutrient levels . By testing the manure we can variable rate it on the fields . We raise Angus cattle as well we compost that manure. We custom spread manure as well both solid and liquid. I custom spread 1 .5 million gallons of hog manure for a local farm in mid November. We use semi tanker to haul the manure to the fields then we use our 580 quadtrac with a 7500 gallon spreader and we knife it in the ground 10 inches deep. Here in Michigan our government passed new laws on manure handling. We have to have permits and we cannot spread on frozen ground or on hilly ground. Nice video keep up the good work !

It can run all day on 400 gallons of fuel. It burns around 20 gallons an hour. As far is acres covered by the spreader it depends on the amount of the rate that they’re putting down. The spreader on loads several tons in about two minutes
