It costs over a million dollars, it’s bigger then an x9 and an x9 apparently costs over a million so.

You look at combines from 30 years ago…I’m sure no one would have ever thought that combines in the future would have almost 800hp!..beautiful machine!

Instead of building bigger machines could they just build ones that are easier to afford? Please?
@E.V.A.N-COProductions4 ай бұрын
The complexity of machines increases the price. And more importantly, there's an increasing demand of bigger, and larger harvesters, for bigger, and larger farms. More efficiently these machines are also thereby receiving new headers. But never mind that, you always can buy used.

Wonder what field we'll see this beast AF11 on your channel Jason? Looking forward to it very much!!!😊👍🏻👌🏻

When they burn there ain't gonna be hardly anything left with all that plastic

Fr, at least with the older combines you can maybe reuse the metal

You think Jerome increase case ever thought his threshing machine would get that big, from what 30 bushels an hr to 8000 bushels an hr

It's really cool, but who could afford that?

We will find out once they hit the market. Definitely a major investment.

Why would Case IH name their new class 10 combine the AF11 ? Seems like they should have named it the AF10 instead. Otherwise, what does the 11 stand for… Axial Flow 11th generation?
@bigtractorpower10 ай бұрын
In the classification system of Combines, they are based on horse power. A set of guidelines has not been established for a class 11 Combine yet. It goes from 5-10 in the industry right now. Case IH calls this one 10+. There is an AF9 and AF10 on the way as well. The AF11 was on display at the show.

Marketing department screwed up they paid big money to have combine at the show ,but then put a rope around it so nobody could look at it

It drew plenty of attention. I plan to film one in action harvesting wheat in June. It will be exciting to see it in the field wide open. They did After Hours tours where they open it all up and people could sit in the cab and see inside it under the panels.

So how does this AF11 compare to the Deere X9 1100?
@bigtractorpower10 ай бұрын
That is a good question. The AF11 is 775 hp the X9 is 690 hp. The AF11 is 567 bu and the X9 is 460 bu. I plan to film an AF11 in wheat this June.
@jerehummelgaard531910 ай бұрын
@@bigtractorpower This past week I have seen numerous posts and articles about the AF11. I would like to see separation and cleaning comparisons, not just hp, grain tank capacity, unloading time and hp comparisons. Keep up the great videos!!
@jimmytee359910 ай бұрын
Deere uses mostly belts to drive their combine. IH runs largely on hydraulic motors. Takes more power more oil to run the IH. The Deere has a bit more belt maintenance but it's more efficient.

Try to drive the small farmers out. See what happens when theirs only a few corporate farm controlling food pieces. Thought the government was supposed to protect us from monopoly
@FreeloaderFarms10 ай бұрын
No one has to farm 30,000 acres. Only if you want to drive small farms out. Anyone who needs this combine is not enjoying farming.
@IG1070510 ай бұрын
@FreeloaderFarms you don't get it, do you? Small farms are dying anyhow just because of prices and the fact that they can't make money, unlike the big farms do. Also, the kids don't want to take over that farm anymore. The world is changing. If a farm with 30k acres can make money, let them do it. They all started off small at one in time. It's better than having some Chinese or Bill Gates company buying the land, then faming it Let's add this, too. Bigger farms need bigger equipment. Those big farmers do enjoy their work they feed us. Stop being an ignorant fool
@FreeloaderFarms10 ай бұрын
@Rock12857 First off, we make money on a couple hundred, like most people in our area. Also us guys that have a couple hundred enjoy the work a lot more than you. We run older equipment, so when we rarely have a break down we can fix it ourselves, you on the other hand will be waiting all because of a computer system. The farms that built this country were small and you have no respect for that. Hopefully there come a day when the big farms get screwed over.
