great video...looks very dusty and hot for you when filming. I'd love a video on how those tandem tractor outfits operate. Rome is an odd-looking tractor.

Oh, you guys also have Deutz-Fahr in the US, not only Fendt, which is run by the US company AGCO. Interesting. Thanks for sharing with all some of the engine details. Would be interesting to see peak torque also added to peak power. Especially when comparing these marine 2-stroke engines in a few of them. Here in Germany we don't have big brands using 2 stroke engines on land side in a Diesel application.

Deutz has been around in the states since Allis deutz was a company

@@IG10705 Thanks, I didn't know. Seems I don't know much about our German Tractor brands and the ownerships of it. Its very interesting to see these highly powered old tractors. I grew up on a ranching farm, we had only Fendt, a GT F231 and a Farmer 2 DE, later Farmer 104 S and a Farmer 306 LSA (32, 35, 54 and 70 hp) in a mountainous region of southernmost Germany, were farm sizes were less then 100 acres. In 1985 I wasn't used to read news papers, I just was about getting into school. Cropping farms were out of my sight, in the higher altitude I grew up we had 6 month of snow and a humus lacking soil.

How do people "repower" a tractor?
@fynbo1007Күн бұрын
maybe put in a bigger motor 😅
@mfreund15448Күн бұрын
Replace the stock motor which has usually failed with a more common engine. Kinze did a bunch of Deere in the 80’s. Farmers have been doing them since engines first started failing.
@ricknelson782417 сағат бұрын
Well you take out original engine, decide what engine could fit, figure out the alignment and clearance issues, modify what may need changing, install and connect associated components. It has been done for years.
