I have the Trailer Mover. It was made by a guy in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. I love it. It is powered by an extension cord plugged into any AC outlet. At my house the RV access is super tight but I can get my 33’ trailer in it with no problem. His only cost $2,000. I love the fact that it needs no battery to deal with. He told me that it can move up to 15,000 lbs. my trailer weighs-in around 8,500 loaded and my driveway has a descent grade to it as well. I am a big supporter of these type of machines if you have a tough area to put your trailer into.

I've been waiting for this to show up on your channel. I kinda think it would be cool to use at campsites that are back in only and you want your trailer facing the other way. Been to a few campsites at national forests and make you wonder why they set up the campsite the way they did. Only downside to that is that a lot of those campgrounds are one lane roads so you may make other people very annoyed with you while you slowly get things situated.

Great review. I've been looking at this product and was kinda holding back. I agree with Ryan that there are some sites where this could come in handy where you can turn your trailer around. I wounder if you can use this in a situation where you need to level your trailer and use leveling blocks. that would be a good test. thanks for the video.

I have the smaller more manual version (with a drill hooked to it). Very handy for maneuvering my three trailers in and out of my garage. Especially trying to tuck them close to the wall. I only use it on flat concrete however.

We have a pretty good slope to our driveway & I'd like to see what's the greatest slope this will work on. Would slso like to see how badly it might chew up our old asphalt driveway as we move our TT around. If it could pass those 2 tests, I'm in because this would be a game changer for us older RVers when it comes to moving the rig around. Thanks for this review👍

Subjective opinion to be sure, after watching yesterday, I was intrigued, but after today's I'm not sure its price to performance is there. You threw a lot at it to be sure and it got it done, but I would not call that a stelar performance. I think the concept is a 10, the execution is a 6 - 7. That would be okay, but they've priced it as an 11. Make it a $2500 product and I think they'd have a winner, to me, its just not worth the current price of admission.
@BTBRVReviews10 ай бұрын
I think the terrain dictated the outcome more than anything
@wgreenjr8110 ай бұрын
@@BTBRVReviews true, but I guess my thought would be that the terrain you showed it being used on is the very train that it’s needed the most, and should be designed for above all others because if it can work great on somewhat wet grass, then it will inherently work well practically anywhere. To reiterate, I think they have a great concept, and a good start, I just think a little more refinement is needed for the price they’re asking.
@BTBRVReviews10 ай бұрын
I agree there could be some additional features. The main feature I think should be a travel mode, which lets you increase the speed significantly to get it to where you need it. I also believe it should have an integrated seven-way connector that is wired to control the brakes on the trailer.

Yes, it’s a lot of money, but..I live in a duplex and have to share the garage and driveway with the other tenant. He and his wife have separate cars. There is about a 6” space between our cars if we both park as close to the edge as possible. There is a slope to the driveway. No way is there enough room to back my truck without the chance of hitting one or both of the neighbors vehicles. The entire driveway is about 2 1/2 car lengths long. The street in front is 2 lane. Trying to back a trailer up the driveway is impossible for me. I need to mention here that I am blind in my left eye and my depth perception is nonexistent. Bottom line, this setup would be perfect for me. I had to sell my boat for the very reasons I just explained. One of these will be in the garage before I buy my next boat.

I suppose this would be a good tool if you had REALLY tight spaces where a tow vehicle could just not fit. It would be even cooler if had like a "speed mode" where you could move a bit quicker on long straight areas the switch it back to "crawl" mode when you get to those tight spaces. For me, don't need it.

Interesting product. Better to use inner conditions instead of wet so you don’t tear up your yard it appears. How long of battery life does it have I wonder? The heavier the trailer you use should take more of the battery life I would imagine. Quicker to use a truck or Bad Boy, but not as fun.

I can see people geting into issues moving their trailer around and it runs down a hill, I dont see this holding it back. Very useful in right enviroment, Impressed it can move your trailer in soft grass. Do the instructions say to tie a rope or do they give you something to pull the break away switch when just in case, you know people will take chances. I like it and see it useful. They should have a standard rv adaptor you can plug into the wiring harness that can apply 12 vdc to the breaks if needed. Thanks for the video good example.

Wow for the price it seems only those with money to burn can afford it! How heavy is it? AND seriously you can’t get it wet! Not very good when you’re in a tight space in the rain!! I mean it seems to do the job pretty well and I think a smallish tripod base for the ball would do away with the tightening of the post pretty much and make it more stable on inclines.

Sure looks like to will do well in wet conditions. I thought for sure it was going to fail…but that thing did everything and more. I thought the post would be too weak for that size trailer and I never thought it would move the trailer let alone do what it did. I was impressed, but at $3k+ I doubt I would be a player. My trailer is just a 12’ long ROG 12RK Survival Series by Encore RV…about 2000lbs dry weight, single axle. This thing would take it likely anywhere which would be pretty cool, but that’s a hefty price for what I would need it for.
