In the old days, we just put 235/75/r15 tires on the truck and it wasn't jacked so high in the air. That was also handy when actually putting stuff in the bed as well. Oh and a side note, the trucks were under $20k new.
@bcole4726
@bcole4726 Жыл бұрын
I know! I love trucks and cars modified all to hell but new trucks kind of suck for practicality. I have a 30 year old truck that works every day I can access the bed from all sides with out a step but I can't use it for a Rock crawler but neither can this guy! If you want access using a new 70 thousand dollar truck you need a trailer. But most lumber yards deliver...

So my instant thoughts were. Your leg bumps up against the step and it moves back crushing your leg. Your standing on the step leaning into the bed and your grandma gets out of the front passenger door and the step moves forward and you get slung to the asphalt as the step moves forward for grandma. Your standing on the step leaning into the bed and your grandma gets out of the front passenger door and falls to her death because the step didn't move forward with you on it. It's a very stupid idea as is all Chevy / GMC crap. Buy a Ford and take it to work, not woke.

All these comments on it’ll break and reliability concerns and will it hold up weight I mean I haven’t had an issue on my 2016 LTZ with them they’ve been available forever on GM trucks they slide outward not downward like aftermarket AMP steps so that might be about the only complaint some will have for leveled or lifted vehicles
