Brian, I think it's ok if you are hauling marshmallows, pillows or cotton balls! Lot's of storage but no carrying capacity! A few of the manufacturers did actually improve their ratings. Redwood on most models and Brinkley come to mind immediately. Thanks for the comment.

Definitely! Fortunately, I have a 4' desk to fit all my journaling supplies - scrapbook paper, stickers, washi tape, stencils, calligraphy pens, markers, etc. I spent the week at Legacy Creations Scrapbook Store in Concordia MO and learned about die cutting. I'd love to start doing that but don't have the room right now. But... I introduced my daughter to die cutting and she's super excited about it. So I'll get all my cuts done at her place when we are visiting. Can't wait to see some of your videos and learn more about it and incorporate card making into Journaling! 🤩 thanks for the comment 😊

Hey Guys, great video's from Tampa RV show! I have an observation from watching your videos and it has to do with where you park for the night when you are in transit from point A to point B as well as when you are stationary in some of the more remote areas. My wife and I have put in over two million miles in over-the-road trucking and I have to admit there are several places you guys stay overnight that I would not feel comfortable with. We have had to sleep in some pretty sketchy areas especially in the major metropolitan east coast areas and I know that I don't get much sleep when we are in these situations, but it goes with the job and we always just made the best of it. I guess everyone's idea of a safe parking place is going to be different, but I was just wondering if you are able to truly relax once the time comes to call it a day? I know that we grew to feel quite secure in a truckstop setting which many people find counter-intuitive. I think it was because there is the 24-hour nature of the environment and for those who utilize the RV parking at truckstops like the Flying J you are right outside the windows of the fuel desk.

Thanks Nelson for the comment. Yes, everyone has a different tolerance and perspective on "what is safe". If we don't feel comfortable then we're out of there! It's happened a few times. We're really leaning more towards Harvest Hosts and rest areas in authorized states.

Thank you very much Nelson. As David said, if we don't feel good about an overnight stop we go to plan B which has happened only twice in the past 7 years. Early on we used to overnight at truck stops because it's really easy. But we now use it as a last resort because as an RVer we have more choices than OTR drivers and it seems like spots are getting more and more limited for you guys. We only stop at Walmarts when I have a lot of shopping to do and it's so much easier to offload groceries right from the cart into our home. Thanks for watching and joining us! 😀

Just one thing we would like is a little more detail on where you are, i.e.,campground names and the area they are in.. we have a Diesel pusher pulling a 30-foot trailer. The Brinkley really impressed us with a lot of their features, design and build quality. The layout is nothing special on the Toy Hauler but under the skin is really nice. It's an extremely well thought out unit. Thanks for the comment. 😁

Sondra, I told Cindy she had to give up her scrapbooking room. I thought it was fair. I'm giving up my shop for the 5th wheel with a smaller garage and no home office. She's spoiled. Has a 12'x14' room for her scrapbooking and crafts room. I have my 75'x150' shop and gun room. Plus private man cave and home theater. Humm... a Class A with an island kitchen. That would be wonderful until you wanted to use the bathroom on a travel day. The button to open the drawer doesn't look ADA compliant. How would an arm amputee onen the drawer? Good video. Thanks for sharing.

We asked about maneuvering around the island and it can be done with slides in. Chairs are pushed in and you go around by the table. Tighter than a normal Class A but very doable for most anyone. Thanks for the comments. 😃

Do you feel that the quality is not as good as it used to be? I have heard that 2020 to 2022 rigs suffered with quality issues. Some really great innovations, Especially those hidden cabinets under the cupboards.

A David and Sandra I just got a quick question for you with this new law in California on the big trucks what is your opinion on all this and how is this going to affect you.

Won't affect us since I believe the California law restricts trucks to 2010 and newer. It's for emissions and I believe it's only for California registered vehicles. It may expand to transient traffic but that would be difficult to enforce and monitor.

I really do not like the split floors, less steps inside is better. My parents have one of the original crickets mini electric carts. It has worked great for several years.

@@bigtruckbigtravels that is awesome. We carry around a 5lb co2 and mix our own soda in a 2 liter bottle. Gotta shake it as there is no agitator. Definitely not as convenient or cool as yours, but it's nice charging at 50 psi.... talk bout bubbly water.... you have a nice rig. Keep it up!
