I suppose the bricks and mortar analogy is that Orion is your home and this is your holiday home. It looks lovely. You very openly showed the price of this vehicle. Would I be correct in assuming that vehicles such as Orion/ Voyager are of a totally different magnitude? Unfortunately those in the U.K. who acquired their driving licence after 1997 are limited to driving a 3.5t vehicle without taking further examinations. Do both of your vehicles require a higher level of US driving licence?

I really like the “virtual “ rear view mirror you installed in the Jeep. Could you share the brand, model and any important installation tips. Thank you, love your channel!
@bigtruckbigtravels Жыл бұрын
It was a pretty straightforward install in the Jeep. I got it off Amazon by Wolfbox. It's the mirror dash cam with the separate camera and GPS module so there are a few wires running back to the mirror. I ran the wires in the cushioned roll bar to the rear on the passenger side and through the rear gate. I mounted the rear camera on top of the 3rd brake light above the spare tire. I got the power by tapping into the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side. There is an access through the door jam on the passenger side. I like it a lot. Thanks for the comment. 😊

Good news bad news.. we went to the Tampa show with some friends who have an E450 chassis and they said it struggled going up the hills. Since we will be taking Curiosity up to Alaska this summer 2023 (next time in Orion) we knew we needed the power (based on our trip in 2017). It also has an engine brake for the downhills (not as good as Voyager but helpful). And the 4x4 will be a nice piece of mind too.
