Good luck to all of you. I was a professional welder. I stopped doing vehicles very early on, thankless task. When its a special task like your home and its a big forgiving commercial vehicle, its a different ball game. It feels like the time and effort is worth it. Ill be down to visit one day Mel. Im moving at the moment. My lad lives in Maidstone, I have freinds around Kent.

Your mate does not need to go sva route. Once it’s a camper. It can go for class 4 mot and then register with dvla. Sva route is not advised

Hi Mel , great bunch of like minded people and obviously we all know it’s the best van by far Have any of you considered hinging the sliding door aka the old commer and cf Bedford route. This will allow more room to build or hang a cabinet onto the door ? I’m thinking of this myself kind regards Owen

ohh my, the couple with the welding, these are the kinda people i need in my life, to help me know how to do my transit...do you rent space mel? where is it ? - these are all the things i need to do, but my vans outside, so now lying in mud n cold is getting bad, they are inspiring....i wonder what welder they bought ??....such a great video, this new shared place....id love to be part of it babb !!x

I really enjoyed this video, everyone putting in the work and trying there best, you don't have to be a professional you just have to have a passion and love of a shared Goal, besides it also saves you thousands of pounds, as long as your safe do plenty of research, have time and patients you can do most jobs yourself.

I see a lot of you use that cheap 7.5mm T&G boarding from Wickes. I know you are all trying to keep down the weight but do you not find that it warps a lot and is full of knots.?

These Vario's look a bit easier to work with - more vertical sides (if you can have more vertical...)? He's never going to get all that Weetabix into Europe! Love this co-working for vannners!
