Sarajevo is the second city with the most Tatra K2 trams (about 90) after Brno (around 135). Originally it was going to have 110 in total but the last 20 were cancelled. 15 of them ended up in Brno, 3 in Bratislava and 2 in Ostrava. These trams were delivered between 1973 and 1983, during the time when Sarajevo also operated Tatra T3 trams (20 of them were delivered). Unfortunately, the Tatra T3 trams were deemed outdated and were all replaced with the current Tatra K2 and Satra 2 and 3 trams. Around late 2000s, Netherlands donated 16 of their old trams that formerly operated in Amsterdam which was followed in 2015 by a Turkish donation of the old tram that formerly operated in Konya. Most notably, every year at the start of May, they would drive a old replica of the 1895 electric tram to commemorate it's annual birthday which is May 1895 after the age electricity began in Sarajevo.

@austria-hungary4981 Жыл бұрын
@@PlaviStrumf Well Yugoslavia was in a constant economic flux given their non-aligned position and not taking sides but in the end, Yugoslavia would be prosperous if Tito had someone like him to rule the country after his death.
