As an obc, I want removal of reservation based on caste. The reservation should be given on the basis of financial conditions and members earning in a family. Edit : If the above thing can't be implemented in the current scenario then the creamy layer should be strictly imposed on both ST and SC castes. As I have seen the benefits of SC and ST caste reservation goes to high income families and influential people's children. Why do they want a reservation for their children when they have already achieved that stable life and money. They can now send their child abroad for study but still want the benefits. But the people who live in tribal areas who really need education and jobs fell far behind because now they have to compete with the children of high income families and they do have many options. So, at least the creamy layer concept should be applied to ST and SC. This is only my opinion based on my experience.

So for OBC, reservation is limited to the non creamy category which is an economic criteria. Generally, you should think about socioeconomic equality not just economic equality. This is why caste based reservations have a valid reason to be there. However, politicians today are really exploiting it for vote bank politics. As Sham pointed out, caste based reservations are important but should be slowly phased out. One way to do this would be to remove certain castes from the OBC status and shrink this list over time. A good place to start would be Yadavas from UP and Bihar to no longer be considered OBC.

Find industries run by central govt. with equal representation from all communities.

देखो सबसे बड़ी समस्या मोदी ने पैदा किया हमेशा हिंदू हिंदू करके ओट मांगते रहे और खुद को obc kahte रहे और जनवरी में राम मंदिर के नाम पर वोट लेने के चक्कर में थे ।इस बात को नीतीश को पता चल गया तो उन्होंने जाति वाला कार्ड खेल दिया है ।और ये सब रुकने वाला nhi है । मोदी को चाहिए की विकाश के नाम पर वोट मांगते तो उन्हे अच्छा लगता लेकिन ओ जबसे आए है तब से हिंदू खतरे में है ।हिंदुत्व की राजनीति का गंदा राजनीति का खेल खेल रहे है । तो असली जो समस्या का जड़ है मोदी ही है अगर ओ विकाश के नामपर वोट मांगते तो आज जाति की राजनीति सामने न आती । मुझे लगता है की आने वाले समय में लोकसभा से पहले खुद bip ही कास्ट सेंसस की घोषणा कर सकती है क्योंकि बीजेपी किसी का नहीं है ।किसी भी जाति का क्यों न अगर बीजेपी का विरोध करता है तो उसे बीजेपी नहीं छोड़ती है ।इसलिए बीजेपी जैसा गंदा राजनीति कोई पार्टी नहीं कर सकती । और नीतीश भी भी पुराना खिलाड़ी है नीतीश का राजनीति कैरियर मोदी से बहुत लंबा है आप इनके बारे में गूगल कर सकते हो आपको पता चल जायेगा की नीतीश कुमार राजनीति में महारथ हासिल कैसे है । इसलिए यहां किसी एक पार्टी को दोष देना उचित नही है ।मेरे विचार से मोदी इसकी शुरुआत किए हैं क्योंकि उन्होंने खुद को ओबीसी का कहके वोट लेने की कोशिश की लेकिन जब अब बात आ गई को इस देश में ओबीसी की संख्या कितनी है तो चुप हो गए है । आने वाली राजनीति इसी पर होगी और मुझे लगता है की बीजेपी यदि 5 या 4 राज्यों ने चुनाव हारती है तो लोकसभा के चुनाव में जाति जनगणना की घोषणा खुद कर सकती है।
