Bijli Marks 14 Years Of Freedom With Wildlife SOS!

Once a begging elephant, Bijli endured a life of suffering-forced to walk on harsh concrete roads and survive on nothing but dry grass, leaving her both physically and emotionally weak. But everything changed when she met with a tragic accident and was rescued by the Wildlife SOS team.
In 2010, Bijli’s journey to recovery began at the Elephant Conservation and Care Centre (ECCC), where she was given a second chance at life.
14 years later, Bijli, alongside her best friends Chanchal and Laxmi, shares joyful moments every day at the centre.
