Barbary leopards in Morocco are so rare that we aren’t even sure if they’re still around. But estimations are a population of 10-15, and the numbers are so low after colonial Frenchman hunted them for sport, which made the Barbary Lion in Morocco and Africa’s only bear species, the Atlas Bear in Morocco, go extinct.
