I am working in IT in Canada, although I agree that Devin, or AI will replace many IT jobs, however in my 10years of IT experience as developer, if you are best in any job, you will have a job because AI would only able to Assist you however it will not able to replace an good developer because a bad code is going to cost millions of dollars for a company.

20 years ago a safe deposit of 20 lacs was considered enough for living a secure entire life. Now 20 lacs or deposits in banks become futile as no saving can give you a secure life. Same 10 years back a certificate of PG was considered a secure asset for a job and better future. Presently no PG certificate offered by any universities in India cannot guarantee a job for a job seeker. If anyone is studying a subject hoping for a job after 5 years it is futile because after 5 years the scope of the subject will change by the time he finish his course. Only solution wise, practical, observation,skill orientation in academics and ready for adaptation and ready for learn and unlearn and relearn.
