Theory: When the mother says "Don't be like your dad" Does that mean that the dad used to deliver leftovers too but he kept coming back so the mother snapped out and killed him and turned him into leftovers? So if Kenneth (the kid) came back home too much like his dad, She murders him and turns him into leftovers? I actually like these theories more than "Oh his father was in an affair with the hot woman that tried to kill everyone!" I'm just not a fan of it lmao. Though I do think she's only (was) married to Kenneth's dad(Keith) and didnt have a ex-husband. For the first theory,I feel like you're correct but I don't think the dad would be delivering leftovers since it's not often to see husbands delivering leftovers,only the kids do that.I feel like he did something 'useless' that pissed the mother off to a point she snapped and made him into leftovers for Kenneth to give to their neighbours.

I dont think so, im pretty sure what it meant is her kid constantly coming back was "hurting her", in this instance, she meant making her angry since the kid kept coming back. When she said "dont be like your dad" she meant not to hurt her like her dad did, in that instance, it was him cheating on her. Thats why it was implied that the woman on story 7 had an affair with him, and got angry when she figured out the implication that the kids mom turned the dad into leftovers.

Well Idk if anyone noticed it, but at 12:08-12:11 The scream is the same as one of the screams you can hear in the soundtrack of Disney's haunted mansion (right before the madame Leota seance part of the ost), and I'm confused as to if its from the game or the editor, I didn't expect to hear 2 times the same sound in such vastly different places.

So basically here is what I think is the lore: The mom (Hilary) was a cannibalist (as seen at how some neighbors have their limbs cut off,like the old man,the no legs man,and possibly the old man’s wife) and her husband (Kenneth) found out,he decided to cheat on her with Laura (the neighbor in level 7),after finding out,Hilary send her kid to bed and killed her husband,then she made leftovers of him (his meat,which she is probably cutting at the game’s beggining) to make the evidence dissapear,she couldn’t do it herself (because of the things she did) so she send her son to do it instead,as probably no one knows about us and think we are Laura’s son,as they probably know they both were together,that’s why the suspiciously attracted to the food man confused us and thought we were Laura’s son. When the game ends,Hilary says she has to do some leftover business which could imply she is going out to kill Laura,and she is sending her son to bed to be unnoticed.

my theory about the game(TW: the theory contains mention of murder, if you dont like it or not comfortbable about it dont read): let's call the little boy Max if you dont mind Max,his father and his mother were a family,living together, but a day her mother killed the wife of a man and made the body to food, the leftovers in question, and she said for the father to give to the neighbors but he failed and died...a few days after Max mother decided to do the same thing on Max and turns out he survived,Laura tho knew the food was *the father* and tried to murder Max,Max manages to escape and his mom,hearing everything, goes and kills Laura to make her leftovers.. again,it's my theory, hope you enjoy!
