Hello sir, I have on question what will happen if one device is getting os-upgrade will this sync as well? as you tell that all config will be sync b/w devices what will happen in upgrading os ? Both device will upgrade at same time ?

thank you very much for making these videos it helps a lot for techincal community to learn and understand the technology better...i wanted to clarify what was config on the northbound and southbound switches in the topology in the EVE-NG Lan ...Switch1 and Switch3 ...... did you configure port channel ? of a simple trunk link ?

Thanks it was very informative and detailed explanation. I have a query here , why do we need a switch in this architecture? As FG supports software/ integrated switch both the links can be terminated on the router right . Why do we require switch ? If it is only for segmentation can that be achieved through VDOM? I have a 2 wan link. So can i configured all 2 wan link in both the device. And for lan side. How can i create a virtual ip for lan sid gateway.

HI Sir, Thank sir, As advised by you for any scenarion in our environment. In our environment ha has been configured active passive. only a single ip is to be accessable . no secondary ip. and it is managed by fortimanager. even management interface is down, kindly advise. how to access secondary firewall also management interface issue.

I'm unable to setup ha setup.. i have two fortigate 121g and two fortiswtich 424E-FPOE.. i need to setup ha using these one switch on lan side and one switch on wan side.. im unable to understand how to do the connections to switch and how to configure firewall policies. Kindly help 🙏
