this is exactly what i needed. New to mtb and come from a back ground of building import cars. I love to work on my own things and was looking to purchase this exact stand. It would be nice to see a long term review aswell.

Absolutely! I'll do a follow-up on this stand at the end of summer, it's going to be abused the next few months. 😆 I've already used it on 5 different bikes and darn near use it every day for something. So far it's fantastic but we're only a little over a week in. Great idea! Thanks!

I'm a weekend warrior and want to work on my kids bikes as well. Do you think the 55lbs is good enough or if you could do it all over again you'd get the 100lbs capacity version?

Good question as I've just bought a 50lb Kenevo ebike. I'd still do this one. It holds it just fine and nothing has broke yet! 😁
