You can just short the mil output connector to read the flashes of the mil. The connector is a single black connector right beside the big white diagnostic plug in this video

Cant find it in my 2021model there is only this one big connector block

@@nandu1770 if your one is the model like mine (pre tripper) then its tucked right in the corner of the loom where it ducks down to the ecm under the main earth bolt on the frame, looking forward, right back corner under main seat . One single black connector pin, mine was tucked under the loom. About 40 mm away from the diagnostic plug.
