Great info. Been a regular at BPW since it was £5 a pedal pass! Find all of the red easy apart from Root Manoeuvres (personally think it's close to a black) and Bonneyville. Love the little road gap on Vicious Valley, so many people don't try it though. Would love to have the talent and balls to ride them all properly!
@MtbTrailHub4 жыл бұрын
It must have changed a bit since then😁, so many great sections there now👌
@gavindiamond90544 жыл бұрын
@@MtbTrailHub yeah just a bit! My favourites are Sixtapod and Vicious Valley. Two of the original trails. Prices have shot up a bit in that time, personally think it's too expensive. Plus there's no real bridge between blue and red or red and black. Doesn't really help with progression if you're not the best rider.
@MtbTrailHub4 жыл бұрын
Gavin Diamond Yeah the prices are pushing the limits a bit but it is bloody good. They have the merger trails which are half blue/red and red/black which I thought were pretty good for progression....🤔

Great video! I just started mountain biking this year so my colleagues thought it was a good idea to send me down Roots Manoeuvres for the second run, safe to say I kept to the blue trails for the remainder of the trip!

@M0jibake4 жыл бұрын
Yeah Surfin Bird can really mess with your head, the drops look massive but when you actually do them they are simple. It's the fact they are blind. You just have to trust it. It's the drop into Bonneyville at 7:54 that messed me up yesterday. Took me three attempts to hit it and then I was so fixated on the first drop that after I cleared it I missed the left-hander and went wide over the grass!
@boneheadmck4 жыл бұрын
Have said it before but the video quality of your edits is really good. Level above most of the MTB you tubers. Also, unlike most of the guys who have done BPW videos, you stop and talk about some of the features. Ive been to BPW many times but still appreciated these bits.

Hey man I'm local to bpw and usually do the reds and some of the technical blacks but the last gap jump on ACDC freaks me out l can't clear it same on watt's occurring as l hit the lip and crashed last time. Any tips? Loads of speed and pump the lip hard?
@MtbTrailHub5 жыл бұрын
steffan johnson It’s quite intimidating because it’s fast and blind. I usually take multiple walks up the take off on blind jumps and mark out a take off point. With a bit of speed and pop it’s not to bad 👍🏼
@steffanjohnson81845 жыл бұрын
Thanks pal.. You made it look super smooth and easy! Yes it is blind.. They like that sort of thing at bpw mind! Thanks for the reply and your vids. Super inspiring 👍🏻
@MtbTrailHub5 жыл бұрын
steffan johnson Thanks, No troubles, glad to try and help out. 👍🏼 If you crashed on something similar it might also be worth building the confidence on some smaller blind drops/jumps first! Just a thought🤔. Have fun and good luck with the send🤙
@steffanjohnson81845 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice. Yeah smaller sends and trying to clear them first sounds like a plan 👌 as far as technique goes.. Any vids that you recommend?
@MtbTrailHub5 жыл бұрын
steffan johnson I haven’t watched any tbh but I’m sure GMBN will have something out there👍🏼 You can’t beat a bit of coaching but then it’s going to cost a few quid..... Get what you can from the KZbin vids out there and then maybe look at some coaching if you’re still struggling 👍🏼

@MtbTrailHub2 жыл бұрын
Hey Robert, Looks like i may be a bit late with this response. Sixtapod,Terrys belly and Popty Ping are always good blues to get going with. Be sure to check out the trail map regarding the trail difficulty. They have a good grading system which grades the trails from easiest to hardest.

Good trail information coming through in the video. You need to refrain from walking back up the trails and stopping in the middle of them though. This video will be seen by a large number of people that will consider it as acceptable behaviour. This is not the case and is dangerous for you and other riders descending the trails.
@MtbTrailHub5 жыл бұрын
Yeah i agree with you but i think people will do it regardless if they've seen it on a video or not. What you don't see and maybe i should mention it in some of my vids is I'm always keeping my bike and gear well out the way and very vigilant of other riders coming through.

How long is the climb if I choose to ride up ?
@MtbTrailHub4 жыл бұрын
Marcin Terlecki Not sure tbh as I’ve only ever used the uplift. I’d estimate about 45mins - 1 hr
@MartinTeerly4 жыл бұрын
@@MtbTrailHub ok then uplift cost £45 for whole day right ? How many trails or how many time you use it a day ? I'm trying to figure out how much it works out per ride
@MtbTrailHub4 жыл бұрын
Marcin Terlecki yeah that’s right, if you don’t hang around you can get 11/12 runs in. If you go for a mellow day out then you will easily get 5 or 6. It is possible to pay per lift but it works out cheaper and less waiting around to just buy a day pass if you are planning to be there the whole day.
