A little late on this one because I was traveling, but my first reaction was WOW! Red bridges and lush green forests never get old. This was honestly probably one of my favorite locations of the ones you've shown in your videos. I can definitely see why this was your favorite place in Japan to bike around.

I discovered your channel just by happenstance. I'm so glad I did and hope one day to visit these same areas and ride there. Can one get by in these rural areas without knowing any Japanese?

Thanks so much for watching! Yes, I think it would be no problem to ride here without knowing Japanese. I would learn some basic phrases, please and thank you, etc. but overall if you have google translate or something similar on your phone that can get you pretty far. Most road signage has english on it as well. Enjoy!

Great vid! So when are you going to enter your own bike race!!! That water in the river looked so ready to jump in! Reckon you guys will go to the f1 this year? Hopefully there are more laps than last year. If you do go, gives us a heads up and we’ll grab a beer somewhere. Travelling from Australia over (via the Singapore f1 the week before). Thanks Tony! Actually I am finally racing this July in a gravel event! Very excited, it's been a while. And I'm sad to miss the Japan F1 race this year - I had a trip planned to the US to see family during the same time, which will also be very nice. Hope you have a great time! The Singapore race would be awesome to see.
