I haven't seen those but I've seen metal ones that bolt on. They come in black and chrome.

Yes you are correct. These are just plastic covers for guards which I thought is good idea to pop on

Yes something like that actually though I will try it as it was only $20. These engine and saddlebag guards are freaking expensive so I treat that as cheap insurance just in case
