A bike ride in Bell Park, Greater Sudbury, Ontario. We stopped here on our road trip from Toronto to BC in May 2022. A summary of our trip is here on our blog: yula.ca/road-t...
Bell Park is a large municipal park located on the western shore of Ramsey Lake. The park is named for William J. Bell, an early lumber baron in the city whose former Belrock mansion is also the site of the Art Gallery of Sudbury. The park site is part of his estate land, donated to the city by him upon his death. Two former mayors of the city are also honoured in the park grounds: the park's amphitheatre is named for Grace Hartman, and a boardwalk connecting the park to the nearby Science North site along the Ramsey Lake shoreline is named in honour of Jim Gordon.
The video is created by mounting a DJI Pocket 2 camera on the bike's handlebars. It is filmed and edited at 4K Ultra HD at 60 FPS. This video can be used as a virtual cycling tour. Our videos provide you with an easy way to explore and discover Ontario, and help decide if it's worth the trip to see it in person. Visit our blog for an interactive map of all the trails we have visited. It contains links to all our virtual cycling videos: yula.ca/bike-c...
