Great video! Just found your channel. Looking forward to see more of your content. You were so close to the real downtown Indy. If you would have hoped on to the Culture Trail you would have ridden through heart of Indy with Monument Circle at the center of the town and state. As someone that loves history and facts you missed this one. :-) "Indianapolis devotes more acreage than any other U.S. city to honoring our nation’s fallen, and is second only to Washington, DC, in the number of war memorials." You hit two of many great trails in the Hoosier state. Well done and thanks again from a Hoosier! P.S. Loved the Indianapolis Motor Speedway flying wheel shirt!

Another cycling video that I enjoyed. Several years ago, my husband and another couple decided to go for a cycling trip in Muncie, IN -- at the time, we knew nothing about Muncie and would sometimes catch ourselves mumbling to people where we would be cycling. Turned out to be a really fabulous cycling trip! Also, FYI: On your three hour videos, I put them into my KZbin Watch Later list and watch them one hour at a time on my spinning bike. It works great.

I am a Hoosier and I was told by one of my teachers in the 8th grade I believe that Hoosier comes from people calling out to other people saying who's there and a you can assume it sounds a lot like Hoosier with any kind of twang you could throw in there. For example, coming up to a homestead and calling out who's there. I always thought that was an interesting take on the name

Really great views, Bryan. The diversity of landscape impressions is wonderful. Indiana is one of my favorite states for cycling. Even the back roads are beautiful and not heavily trafficked. Glad you got at least some sun breaking through. That makes all the difference in the tone of the viewing experience. One thing I miss in your videos, that you used to do early on, is simply let the film roll on for some time before changing scenes. Yes, this will make for longer videos. But you get a real sense of the ride viewing it bend after bend. Changing up the camera perspective is ok along the way. But now, all we get are snips of prime scenes. But even those aren't long enough to get the feeling of "riding along"... your main theme. I enjoy all your narrations and fun stuff, but I miss the longer scenes that draw you into the ride itself. Perhaps you could also release longer videos of just the ride... letting the camera roll on for several minutes per scene. Just a thought. Those productions would also be very easy to assemble... not much editing required. Thanks for what you do, Bryan. Gord

You can turn right, pass beneath the highway, and then turn left across 10th Street to pick up the Cultural Trail (an urban trail) or turn left for the Pogue’s Run trail. Pogue’s Run will take you about 4 miles east. The Cultural Trail runs all over the city with access to, among other things, the Michigan Street bike lane to the B&O rail trail. Just found your Monon trail video. I enjoyed it! I’m from Cincinnati, so maybe I’ll go there in person some day. Thanks for going to the trouble, although I know you’re in it just for the money, LOL! I’m watching from my basement from the seat of my recumbent exercise bike. I’m up to 25 minutes on the bike, two and a half weeks after hip replacement surgery. I had no idea I could heal this quickly! It’s a miracle! You mentioned meeting some old folks on bikes. I’m not surprised. While ago, I found a medical study done in England. They found lots of elderly English people who ride long distances on their bikes. Medical work-ups showed that most of them had T-cells that were as healthy as people in their twenties. That’s really good, because T-cells make up a huge part of our immune system. Hopefully I fit in that category at 78. I started riding my bike, jogging and eating well early in life. I’ll keep it up as long as I can. I noticed that older people were doing those things and were living longer than older folks who were not. I also heard that most of longevity had to do with heredity. Then I read studies that debunked that. After all, my dad died when he was 59, and mom died of Alzheimer’s at 70. So keep riding my new friend! When I’m not confined to my basement recumbent, I often ride outside my CruzBike recumbent. Now that I’m stuck at home for a few more weeks recuperating, and a bit bored I have time to browse for interesting stuff on the web. While browsing, I found a used Brompton C line. It will be here tomorrow. Boredom is expensive! I can’t wait till it gets here!
