I own a 2022 cb125f. I own it amongst other bikes but still I enjoy riding it as it relaxes me and it is engaging. Great as a daily cheap run about. But still has a more grown up feel about it when comparing it to all other Honda 125cc bikes. Much cheaper too. I like how it’s understated in that regard. I put petrol on and I don’t get people staring nor asking questions. It’s comfortable and ridiculous cheap on petrol. I wouldn’t take it near motorways, it’s just not designed for it. 50 miles an hour or 80km/h is where the bike holds it own. Keep up with traffic no problems. My favourite thing is how simply everything is on the bike. Love the centre stand and gear indicator for a bike at this price point. The weight and skinny tires make for a different experience to my other bikes. To me it’s an absolute keeper as it has a very clear purpose. I will admit I purchased it originally as I was intrigued by the hype of this little thing. Thinking I’d sell it straight away if I wasn’t excited to ride it.

Good reviews there. I’ve had 74 mph out of my YBR on a flat dual carriageway. Mind you my chin was on the petrol tank at the time. If I’d had my choice again I think I would have gone for one of the Hondas.

Hi guys. I’m driving CB125F 2022 , my own average mileage with a full tank is 480 miles and when I’m at the petrol station I have to say that into the tank it has a bit more petrol which is mean with a full tank the average mileage for me is 500 miles. Thanks.

Nice. You’ve got a mix of cb125f models there though. The newer 2021 version would be out of the price range as they are still holding their value well. The engine is slightly different and expect better mpg from the post 2021 model. Cheers

Worth checking the wheels for run out,or chips,as yoots like to crash them up kerbs,also whichever one you buy,always but always secure it with a disc lock, and a decent chain and padlock every time you park it,the Adidas wearing hooded creatures from the local chav estate will pinch it, as they are so light and easy to push😮

good morning - love 125s and these are perfect to cruise. Bought some the last three years; 2008 yamaha wr125x (good engine, breaks and suspension - seat not comfortable) 1973 Honda cb125k5 (because its so damned shit beautiful) 1982 Vespa PX125 (to find out what the magic of these rides is..still thinking) 2000 Yamaha trx125 (two stroke - powerful - very comfy on long distance) and for my 60th birthday last december two more bikes above 125cc. A 1983 Honda xl250r (my favourite these days) and my all time dream bike since 44 years; the legendary yamaha sr500 a 1984 model. Exept the SR500 all bikes were below 2000 Euros.

New, probably not a half bad option for someone on a budget. Used would be a risky game to play with former owners being over enthusiastic 17 year olds that may have sent them up the road/left unmaintained in the wet and turned to rust. If you see a second hand one, check it over thoroughly.

these videos would be a lot better if they didnt have a cut and paste wikipedia/ i googled a bike and looked at a price on ebay feel. would be a lot better if you had someone who rode them and pointed out good features and the bad instead of just reading from spec sheets. I know this is not really a place people go for an in depth bike review but still the info just seems so vague and generic its hardly of any use to most people trying to make an informed choice about a bike. just appears to be recycled content for contents sake

The Honda is the savvy choice, but then again the CB125F is the dullest, commuteriest, most riding schooleriest bike out there. And under 2k is probably going to have a few blemishes. So you could do your 2k on an almost new Chinese time bomb and hope for the best 😂 The YBR might solve this dilemma to an extent, and is widely available at under 2k.

can't agree on dull per-se as it's built for a market, and at a price. I'm over 60 and love my 2021 model coz it's so cheap to run, uber reliable, fab mpg & quiet. I'm no speedster and spend most time riding time in the country on single track roads and lanes where you cant (and dont want to) nail it, or easy commuting in town, and the residual value even for ones that have had unschedule dismounts makes selling easy. a bigger bike would give me personally nothing more than i have already, except more cost and hassle, so it's horses for courses. GL
@robsmalley6616 Жыл бұрын
@@Bob-ts2tu yeah, I was just jesting really. If cheap reliable transport is the aim of the game, Honda really cornered the market with their small capacity bikes. I used to have an old cg125 and it was great fun.

@@robsmalley6616 ok tx for the reply. It's funny how many posts i've read on guy's who've moved up from 125's who always look back with fondness, and often wish they had'nt sold them, or even some move back to one years later - maybe there's an element of nostalgia, but you dont often hear people saying what hateful things they are lol, and as you say honda are the kings of small displacement bikes. All these bikes are cumplete rubbish compared to the all time king of 125s, the KMX. U just knock out the washer out of the carb inlet tract and you've got 24 horse power on tap. And believe me, 24 from a two stroke is worth 30 from a 4 stroke!
