i like the triumph because its not your typical bike that you see every motovlogger on.

It's still a great bike. I own one and i love it. Hard to find parts readily available but there out there.

LOVE my Triple. I'd hop on that rather than ANY Harley every time. Maybe some riders just prefer straight roads. Ugh.
@g0nk7 жыл бұрын
Dude here's the deal. If you are already doubting keeping the bike, then your mind is already made. No amount of excuses will change your mind. Believe me. Ride what you like, don't let anyone else tell you differently and don't let numbers tell you either. It's all about what makes you happy.

Well said Gonk. Ride well and be happy.

I was about to say the same thing here. I 100% agree with Gonk on this one. Sell it, trade it, but most definitely don't keep it. Get something else you really like for it. :)

As some people have said before, it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow. Not to mention that those roads dont look twisty enough to push it and have fun on it
@werepat2 жыл бұрын
I wholeheartedly disagree. Slow bikes don't go fast. They're always slow! The most fun I've had riding was when I got a 2000 CBR929rr and rode it on the B roads of Germany, almost entirely below 60 mph, but blasting out of every corner! I think it is much more fun to ride a fast bike as fast as slow roads let you!

Give it some rpm son. Poor bike is idling all the time. 3rd gear 50kph and crack the throttle. Big wheel stand 🤯

Tire probably has a 1/2" stip that was used up the center like my old bike I bought used. Not faulting him but why post a video about a bike you shouldn't have bought in the first place.

if you havent adjusted the suspension, I would highly recommend it because it opens a whole new ride and makes it feel like a new bike 🤘🏍

Seeing those roads there's no wonder you all have Harleys there's no Twisties at all.

Did you get the fz-09? I rode a fz-09 and 07 and fj-09 and a multistrada and a hyperstrada.......I own a 2014 Speed Triple. I thought the yamahas didn't even compare. Also I sold my super glide to get it...haha. I hope you found something you enjoy riding and I hate that you have gotten bored riding the triple because I think the speed triple is the best bike in the world but I'm a little biased;)
@ericford50887 жыл бұрын
In my personal opinion is, I have owned a r6, r1, 1200 sportster, sv650, triumph speed triple 1050, etc etc. out of all the bikes the triumph is probably the most fun I've had on a motorcycle it's taught me to be a better rider, learn rev matching for slowing down cornering is different a little more challenging. And the reason why I still own the triple is because I've only seen 3 speed triples ever, all 2009 an up never a 2008 like mine, r6,cbr600 fz07 fz09 cb1000 etc etc there all nice bikes but dime a dozen. I get so many complements on my triumph and God I just love the look and sound of that bike. But do what you feel is right 2 wheels is 2 wheels bro. Love ya and stay safe.
@ricdiamondhandsflair72083 жыл бұрын
When I get board with my triple, I will simply pin my right wrist back and just keep shifting until I need to change my drawers. Way to understand that you need to ride to you abilities. Stay safe brother.
@jimnorton2570Ай бұрын
They are amazing, I love mine. Fully capable bike that can do it all. I've ridden with other guys with race bikes that get me in the straights but in the twisties game over. I love that I can cruise with my women or go ballistic on it. Truly a great bike.
@ALLDAYANTHONY7 жыл бұрын
The Speed Triple is a beauty and a beast in itself. The power for the street is a bit overkill but once you experience it's true abilities in the twisties, it's hard to expect anything better from another bike. You should definitely do what you want, but the fz09 won't keep you entertained for much longer. If the fz07 had 20 more hp, I think that bike would be an absolute hoot. The sound and looks are awesome. But it does feel like a beginner bike

I remember when I took my rider course for my license and the instructor went around to room and asked everyone what bike they intended to ride. I said a Harley wide glide but he said something I will never forget and having road my BIL's softail I have to agree. He said, oh a Harley, nothing like riding a washing machine and that pretty much sums them up. I ended up with a Triumph Speed Triple r 1050 and ZERO regrets! This thing is amazing! I ride it like I stole it. You can lug it along or go full balls to the wall and it does it all exceptionally well.

I'm hoping to pick up a Speed Triple myself soon in the UK as I love the bike. In the UK the road surfaces aren't always that great but they are full of twists and turns, so you feel engaged with the bike. Most of the US videos I've see the roads are often straight, which must be pretty dull after a while.
@gbmotors41504 жыл бұрын
Misleading thumbail, dude admits he sucks at riding. Not the bike's fault. Stick to a 250 next time.
@jimnorton2570Ай бұрын
Have to totally agree. My friend rode my old 675r and thought it was slow. I'm like okay follow me in your car, that didn't last for long before he was smoked. I upgraded to the 1050r and Wow, what an amazing machine it is.
@bccapone8372 жыл бұрын
If your not into the triumph then the fz07 or fz09 wont bring anything more to the table , I'd go aprillia tuono or mt10 if you going on upgrade, and if it's supermoto defo a ktm 690 👍🏼👊🏼😎

Hello there, Question about your experience with the triumph I undestand why you want to move on from it ...Kind Of . You can't use it to it's potential and that most viewers don't care about it How was the bike in your semi-relaxed mode for 4 months ? How was it cruising ? Would you recommend it if I want a quality bike that can easily due smooth controllable power wheelies, with no clutch and not jar you too much with the sport suspension?? I get the Nobody to Sport Ride With issue !!!!! Let me know, David Rav0

Why not learn to ride the bike you have . Sounds like your more interested in what your bike looks like and what people think about it just learn to ride it properley and you will love it.also the bike u have is a better pkg then a mt09 ,here is a sugestión u bought a hooligan bike that u know think is boring and your talking about selling for another hooligan bike doesn’t make sense.u don’t sound like a real rider to me .and if u did get that more expensive Harley what then ,all there good for is noise and looks .

I was about to hit the dislike button.... I dig that bike, it looks and sounds great. But in the end, do what you feel is best for you. You'll still have folks watching, no matter what you ride. Good luck figuring it out, I'm sure it's not easy.
@kylerohlf88477 жыл бұрын
I'll be up front, not a huge fan of sports bikes in general. However, I'll never stop watching your videos because you aren't riding a Harley. That's just stupid. If you aren't happy with the bike, don't torture yourself with keeping it around. No need to keep something around if you don't see value and enjoyment out of it. But hey, I'm just some voice on the internet with an opinion, so take all that with a grain of salt ;) Regardless of your choices, I'm still a huge fan and love the content my man. Keep it up and good luck with your future bike choices.

Man, I'm sorry so many people bag on your Triumph. I like your personality, that's why I watch. Have you thought of a 300-500 cc sport? You could ride much closer to the bike's capability on a smaller cc bike. Just food for thought. Ride well and be happy.

Well, if you're wanting to focus on content creation and growing your channel, sounds like you're telling us you know the Triumph isn't helping you achieve that goal. Seems pretty simple there - save the triumph for personal riding and focus your content on the things you know will grow your channel in ways you want it to.

Between you and Blockhead ... I swear. I don't know. Maybe it's the 45 year old in me. but it seems like you guys get a bike, and you're not even on the thing a year ... and then it's on to something else. I'm with Bradley. That "feed the shopping for something new beast" is a beast that can NEVER EVER be fully fed. Ever. Trust me. You can be sitting on 30 Mil, and that beast is still wanting fed. You'll just be buying something new ... getting tired of it, and looking for the feeling of something new in 4 months. It's an endless, endless circle. Just park the Triumph ... don't ride it at all ... lower the insurance to theft insurance only, so that it's only Comprehensive ... no liability ... and don't ride it. Look for a third bike actively. Enjoy shopping for the third bike. And don't make a decision right away ... whatever you do. Then in four months ... come back to the Triumph and see if you feel the same way, In the meantime ... grind the Channel up to 30,000 to 100,000 ... and then maybe money isn't really an issue ( _which is a nice position to be in_ )

It's funny how my Harley friends hate sport bikes and sport bike friends hate Harleys. Most fun I have had on a bike is my supermoto bikes. I would say go with a light weight twin. SV650 is my pick I think the fz07 and the ninja 650 also is in the same class. Anyway you can really work on your riding/racing skills on that size bike. When you move up to a bigger bike the cost goes through the roof. Dont let people talk you into thinking the smaller bikes are to slow or are for "girls." Your smart do your homework and race on brother.
