do you think the burley will be good and last for a long bike tour with a dog?

Hi! I can confidently say yes! We now have two children and they use the very same Burley every day to ride to daycare

It did! We got incredibly lucky that our dog loves the Burley. We kept it inside (wheels off) and she used it as a safe space/bed for the first few months. She hates car rides but loves bike rides. We were worried about the length of the trip before we left because we had only trialed a couple of over-nighters and she never relaxed (or slept) in the moving cart. She basically treats the country rides like an 8 hour hunt. She did fine, though. Just crashed as soon as we got to the camp site
