I too am a middle aged on & off road cyclist from Penzance... It was great to see you on some of our local roads & trails. You were certainly using some pretty off beat routes... The problem with Kamoot is that it tries to keep you off the road as much as possible, and in summer down here, even without Covid the bridleways & single track stuff are allowed gets pretty overgrown with the brambles & stingers... Some of us do try and get out with our strimmers & chainsaws to try and keep the most popular trails ridable, but its a futile battle... You were definitely using some trails less travelled and more suited to Mtb there though..! P.S. Things to know about West Cornwall is shops close at tea time, and where ever you are, the train don't stop there on Wednesdays... The way to pronounce Mousehole is Mouzzle and the Carn Brea castle is actually an off-grid restaurant with a road up to it on the other side of the hill... Looking forward to the next instalment...

Mistake on day not to be repeated. Recharging your energy for the next day is the first priority. Cutting the day a little short is a smart move to secure a hot meal & a cold ale. Safe journey.

Really enjoyed that! It was raw & honest, not glorified in any way, the way it should be. Thank you

Hi Adam! What a fabulous trip! Have you shared anywhere about the preparation for a trip like this? Really enjoyed the VLOG so thank you!

Thanks David. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. I've posted videos about my bike and kit set up and I'll probably do a video about the preparation when I've finished daily vlogs from the trip.

New subscriber, in the midlands , come down your direction couple of times a yr , hols my son works in Lowestoft, and lives in Caistor on sea , I do abit of cycling and have recently started a channel called Motorcycles And Things Subbed a couple of wks ago and slowly getting through all ur vids , great stuff, didn’t realise you could take bikes on trains, do you have to pre book , ? How does it work and are the prices reasonable? Many thanks in advance shaneweightman cheers

Thanks. It depends on the train line. If its the main Norwich to London line you have to book but on the regional lines you can just turn up and its first come fit served. I think they have 4 spots per train. Either is free.

You should be aware that quite often graveyard water supply can be collected rainwater that has sat in a tank because it's only meant for plants.
