I don’t have a bucket list. But if I did, a bike packing trip through the mountains would definitely be one of them. Great content

I've had my Dropbar Redwood since late 2020. My #1 recommended upgrade is to mullet the wheels. I found a great deal on RaceFace and put a 29" Turbine 30 on the front and a 27.5" Trace 30 at the rear. Ridiculously comfortable and surprisingly capable. Seriously, I can't recommend it enough!

Catching up on lots of your past videos. Very great. Wife and I just hiked up 537F from Lovell Canyon to Little Zion and some. We roamed the upper crest rainbow for about an hour or two and then headed back at around 6:15pm 6/7/23. Rain came down shortly after on descent. Got pretty chilly but were prepared. Do not forget that conditions can switch on the fly folks. Bring protection. 16 mile day. Get out and hike folks. Great fitness and get outdoors in this amazing valley.

I bartend all day 5 days a week 40hrs. I live for my days off where in Las Vegas areas you can hike, bike, etc all year long if you know where to go. Take a month off and head to the beach 4/5 hours away in the hot summer for a half month and repeat. Wife and I are Class 2/3 hikers. We stray away from class 4/5 for our protection. We go alone. Safety first. There are so many hikes in this area where you get to the end and feel something special just happened. Share the experience, memory, photos, and videos. Just have to go out and do it. Red Rock hiking and Mt Charleston area is never ending. When you feel bored then just wait until summer ends and go explore Lake Mead Rec, Death Valley, Valley of Fire in the late fall, winter, and early spring months. If you have more than a day off than go to Owens Valley and Zion in Utah. More bored? Than go to Mohave and Joshua Tree. It is endless around here. Take a week or two off and drive to upstate Utah and head into Colorado or even Grand Canyon and Flagstaff. We have to fix the problems of this State of Nevada. Keep it Free!

That 10 day bike-pack adventure (Dirt & Vert Tour) sounds epic! Can't wait for that. Seems like you had a great time out there biking, hiking, running, climbing, and camping!

Interesting, a guy that works at a huge bike shop chose a Poseidon Redwood. I ordered one a few days ago, can't wait for it to arrive!!

Thanks for the comment, I am sponsored by Poseidon, so I didn’t choose it, they chose me. It’s hard to say no to a free bike!

Which one is your number one love if you had to choose.Biking or running?
@mountainhighadventures Жыл бұрын
Oh Man, they are both so much fun, but I would have say running. It can take you to more places and it’s simpler. I love the ease of running, you don’t need anything and you can do it anywhere.

Those "LVMC" registers are actually not from the Mountaineers Club. There used to be writing on the other side, with the reversed name of the fellow who placed them. Several of the originals have disappeared, i guess from LNT rage.

Great video! How has the redwood been mechanically, done any upgrades? I have it on my list of gravel bikes.

Great morning video this morning, I am buying a redwood for my needs in Arizona. Like your pack setup. What brackets do you have on the front end of the bike and do you have any recommendations for the rear. I'm doing Iowa ride this summer solo? Subbed this channel, keep on Keepin on

How well do you think the Redwood would do on the tour divide?
@mountainhighadventures Жыл бұрын
I have not done the tour divide, but the bike is very capable, I think it would do well, even if it’s a bit heavy.

Hows the Redwood vs. That Diverge you have ?
@mountainhighadventures11 ай бұрын
I don’t have the Diverge anymore, but here’s a couple of differences. 1. The redwood is way heavier, but with that comes some durability, and confidence. 2. The Redwood has frame mounts, allowing for bikepacking, the diverge didn’t, at least not on the fork. 3. The Diverge was much faster on the roads, but I felt very timid on rugged terrain, whereas with the Redwood, I’ll plow over anything. It came with 2.25” tires, lots of contact.

Hey Sir. I was introduced to your content recently from someone I met at the gym. He thought we had some things in common and I’ve been binge watching your stuff since and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate you. I’m new to the Vegas area, have been exploring the surrounding area since I got here, especially red rock. Through your content I’ve gotten a heads up on some absolutely amazing places and I look forward to exploring everything. You’re the closest thing I have to a running partner right now and just wanted to say thank you. If we ever bump into each other I promise I’ll try not to fanboy out🙏🤙🫡. Happy trails Sir
