Ryan, I just want to let you know that yesterday, for the first time, our family, Dad (me), Mom, Daughter and even the dog! went on a bicycle adventure together. It's been a long time coming, slowly making sure everyone (other than the dog) had a bicycle and then getting the rack to carry them on the car. It was a big adventure! The dog and I got overtired. Wife and Daughter had falls. Still, it was the coolest thing we have done in a very long time. All of this was in no small part due to your inspiration. Because of you, we "got out there!" and we will do it again, hopefully many times. Thank-you.

This is not a re-run :) As with all my long edits, I take out all the music and leave only the natural sounds. I hope that viewers feel immersed in the experience (without the sore ass). These long videos consist of the best and most beautiful shots. I also take out a lot of the dialogue and leave in only the most crucial sound bites. Hope you enjoy this!

I've been biking since the age of 10 years old. I'm 34 now. I wouldn't really consider myself doing much mountain biking, but I love biking around my neighborhood as well as biking in bike trails that have both smooth pavements and rough terrains. I've recently discovered Ryan and his videos and I want to do what he's doing someday before I die. I've also upgraded from a Walmart Hyper mountain bike to now a Trek Marlin 5! There's a huge difference between the Trek and Hyper. If you really want a long-lasting and smooth experience with a mountain bike - I would always go for the more expensive one. Plus actual bike shops have techs who can fit you on a bike and maintain it correctly.

Thank you Ryan for bringing me here, this was absolutely great to watch all the way through. What an awesome video to show what a solid and versatile bike the Priority 600X really is. You're definitely inspiring me to add some things to my bucket list of things to do, and bike packing is definitely going to be on the list. I'm a caregiver for my wife and good friend who both have Alzheimers, my friend is 94. and my wife of 40 years is 76 (ten years older than me). My wife and I have loved writing and singing songs over the years and I hope to take her on a trip across America to promote our new songs and find us a new place to live, but it''s all on hold until we say goodbye to our longtime friend. I can see myself doing some of what you've done here with such class and humor and joy, yes! it's what life is all about. Some of those mountain roads coming down from Big Bear into San Bernardino are the same fire roads we took in our new 2022 Tundra just a few weeks after buying it in January of 2022. The 600X does great in all conditions, I'm really thinking about buying of these now after watching this. Sorry this is so long, but to be honest with you, this was the longest running video I've ever watched on YT and I've been on it since it started. I look forward to watching more of your ventures now and would it be OK to give you a nice big virtual hug from both of us and say WE LOVE YOU Ryan Van Duzer!

I really feel ya riding through the sand. I'm north of 250 lbs so my 2.2 tire really dig in to loose sand and gravel. I wear knee pads when off pavement now. You crossed the mountain range and just the right time before the snows came then hit the desert while it was nice and warm. I wrote this before seeing your return trip to the coast. Incredible ride! Thanks for taking us along for the ride. You've inspired me to aim for longer day rides until I feel like I can do an overnighter after a full day ride. Nice camera drone work.

I know you have a lot of stuff you want to do and we want you to do it, but build in more rest/recovery/chance to just look around time. You need the rest and you never know what sort of amazing gems you'll find out there. The hippie town was a big part of this trip but imagine if you didn't take the time to stop and look?

I really liked this trip and especially not having music (funny as I am a musician) added to there whole "pure" vibe of the trip. I w]s thinking having fatter tires( 3" ) would facilitate a lot of the sandy desert sections and snow - does the Priority bike have ample spacing for that ? Great ride - very inspiring!

Hello Ryan - not a comment, but a question regarding fitment of the 600X and the Apollo. I have heard the 600X tends to run on the large size. Not sure about the Apollo. My normal size is usually large (33 inseam but shorter torso) what has your experience been for sizing? I enjoyed this video - We moved up to the PNW a few years ago from the San Diego Backcountry. I find the the desert areas to be beautiful and miss riding them.
@duzer
@duzer Жыл бұрын
The Apollo runs a bit more true to size, it has typical road bike measurements in cm. Reach out to priority if you have more questions about fit, they’ll set you straight. I usually ride a large mtb, but I ride a medium 600x. My inseam is 31.5

Asking as someone who rides XC hardtails and was interested in getting into the bikepacking scene and wondering if I should get a gravel bike for it. Love your bike.
