Oh man, many years ago I did a long bike tour and about a month into it, I lost my wallet on top of Lookout Mountain outside Chattanooga, TN, rode 10 miles, tried to buy breakfast, realized it was gone, rode back (including the climb back up the mountain), couldn't find it, and had to ride another 90 miles with no food and no cash. I feel you on leaving something behind and making a hard day that much harder! OTOH, it makes a good story, and glad you got your camera back!

You should have taken the bike path through Frisco and up to Copper. Miner's Creek is brutal.

10 Mile can Really Suck, the only upside is, it has resupply on both sides.

Kerry..how tall are you and what size of Hei Hei are you riding? I just ordered the new Hei Hei. I’m 5’10 and ordered a large. Just curious if I should have gotten a medium.

I ride a large too. I think you made the right choice!
