The East Devon Trail is a new 185km/115miles bikepacking route in east Devon, designed by Katherine Moore. It takes in some of the best trails and coastal areas, as well as many nature reserves and wetland areas.

I'll have to check it out, it's local and gorgeous scenery and your filming gives a real flavour of it. The motorbike guys may well have Bern part of The TRF (Trail Riders Fellowship) they are all about sensible use if legal green lanes and I know the East Devon bunch had some active and handy members. If it had some wet sections after that toady summer I think it would be pretty muddy in places now and heading into winter. Thanks for sharing

MTB or CX in your opinion?

So I used my gravel bike with 35mm tyres on, definitely wouldn't recommend anything less than that. Probably a gravel bike with 37mm or more would be ideal. There wasn't anything too rough so a MTB with suspension probably isn't essential, but obviously depends on the comfort you want!
